The writers engineered Aloy as one of the most dis-likable characters in an effort to spearhead feminist propaganda. To their credit, the gameplay is exceptional which makes sitting through each cut scene is worth it.

The input lag on my high end pc is an atrocity. Its 3-5 seconds. Yes, you read that right, seconds, not ms, full seconds. You ♥♥♥♥♥ should be ashamed of yourselves. Like how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard is it to build a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menu screen? Refunding immediately for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I held off on a review until I completed the main story line, as well as the additional Frozen Wilds DLC. I have now completed both, and I am ready to share my experience. The movement and climbing feels similar to Assassin's Creed, but still remains to be original. The good:This game was an absolute joy to progress through. It is very beautiful and gave me quite a few screenshots to prove it.The story always left my wanting more, and I often found myself going and completing additional side quests solely because they were actually worth doing. They kept me engaged, entertained, and on edge. I reached level 52 and it took roughly 58 hours for both the main story and the DLC. I love how fluid and engaging the game is. The not my favorite:I did experience some random crashes, however it did not occur until I left the areas surrounding Mother's Heart. But Since update 1.04, I am pleased to say I experienced no more crashing.-level progression is good, but at level 52, even the largest machines are easy due to the weaponry available. -ending left me wanting more :(-No more DLC -It's over.

I give it a 8.5/10.
I often spent 3-4 hour sessions into this game without even realizing it. It's absolutely worth the $50. However if it is on sale, it's a true steal.
