Let's get straight to the point, if you're reading this you obviously like sandbox style simulation, management, colony building, survival, base attack & defense, etc. but you just need that nudge to get this game in your cart and ultimately into your library. Well, it's simple, this game is for you! Buy it, play it, love it! Trust me, you won't regret it.

The in game settings allow you to make it as easy or difficult as you want it to be. It has incredible replayability as each playthrough often weaves it's own intricate story based on the adversity you overcome. It features a massive and dedicated MOD community who continually provide more and more content that makes the game highly customizable and provides so much depth.

All said and done, I started following this game when it first launched on Kickstarter in 2013. (I bought it in late 2014 / early 2015) There's a reason why it has a 98% of more than 54,000 (as of writing this) "overwhelmingly positive" reviews since it released on Steam in 2018. It is a game you will keep coming back to play again, even if you leave it for months at a time like I do. It is honestly well worth adding to your library, regardless if paying full price or getting it on sale, you will more than get your moneys worth.
