Awesome for what it is, and for its cost. Perfect for casual music writing, or for getting into music creation in general. Great selection of banks and presets. Little bit short on effects: no compressor, phaser, etc. But that can be added on top in another program

Surprisingly good for a late NFS game. I have to admit that I had some good times with this game.
There are some flaws: the tutorial is unnecessary, some of the races are extremely difficult, it's buggy at times, and it can get repetitive at some point...
But overall, the handling's nice, if you're okay with drifting. The car selection is nice, the graphics are nice and it's generally a pleasent game to play. If you're out of racing games to play - this one is definitely worth trying out.

Welp, this is what I think is a good continuation of RIDE 2.
As with the previous game, I don't consider this to be a racing game as is, it's more of a bike collecting game and chilling out game. Being essentially Gran Turismo with bikes, it shares issues of poorly balanced races and weird classes, where a 1 liter bike can be in the same race with 750cc bike. How is that OK?
The handling is much better than RIDE 2's, at least it's easier and more predictable. The visuals are great, and the overall presentation is fantastic. It's a game thta I can always get back to just for esthetics. So if you need a game where you could relax and drive some bikes - this is it.

Though, if you want multiplayer - avoid RIDE 3, as the multiplayer is filled with hackers and is generally unpleasent.

I gave this game well enough chances to redeem itself, and I really wanted to figure out how I could enjoy it, but that didn't work.

Dakar 18 is broken. It doesn't crash, so it's completely functional in terms of game code, but the game design is horrible. Knowing that this is the "Where the hell do I go" kind of game by deisgn, you always seem to miss your destination because either there is no clear indication on where you're supposed to go, either you accidentally miss a waypoint by a few meters and it doesn't count.

Resetting yourself adds a 20 minutes penalty (MINUTES!) when the stages are 40 minutes long. This means that if you reset your car you are not competitive anymore, and you have to restart the entire stage. Imagine how much fun it is to lose 40 minutes worth of progress only because you made a slightest mistake.

For some reason, if you destroy your car entirely, you can reset without penalties - why can't I just do that by pressing a button? I dropped the game at stage 8, where there are no checkpoints in the last 20 or so minutes of the track and the path is full of hazards, so I ended up destroying myself 5 or 6 times before rage quitting.

The co-driver is always late and acts hysterical. He goes "Samir, you're breaking the car" even on slightest taps and most of the time will tell you stuff when it's already too late to act.

The game could have been saved if they spent a little bit more time with the environment, and made clear waypoint goals, like buildings, trees, rocks or pretty much anything else.

All in all, don't buy this game unless you're willing to spend hours to figure out how to play it.

Well, this game is kinda meh. It's just average. As average as it can possibly ever get. The design is okay, the gameplay is ok, controls are fine etc, especially if you're 8 years old.

Why do I give it a negative review then? The freaking bugs. I've played what, a few hours? But the amount of bugs and small issues I've experienced would be enough to not recommend the game.

This game breaks. You jump - it breaks, you walk - it breaks, you do nothing - and it still breaks! I think that using the word "bug" isn't quite appropriate for all the issues, I think that the game was just half-assed and not really well thought out. For exampole, the first world I completed without that much issues, but then it all began. Holes in walls so big that you just go throught them, not expecting to and falling to your death. Camera that only has 3 fixed positions, so when you have to go back you really just walk into the camera (which is totally 100% convenient). Toads that legit commit suicide and jump off the bridge - seriously, in a game that is clearly designed for kids, how can you allow that?! The thing that decided the thumb position for me was some kind of a glitch when I exited the dungeon without having collected the clover. Yes, I won it, but somehow the game managed to help me avoid actually collecting it.

Some more minor issues would be dreaded out animations, confusing platforming (welp, any 3D platforming is confusing by default), the inability to re-listen instructions for a level if you accidentally skip them.

All issues aside, this game is woth it if you intend to gift it to a kid or if it's on sale.

I can understand anything, but this is some ♥♥♥♥.

I usually give negative reviews when the game is boring, dull, unnecessarily hard or something else. This one is everything combined.

It's just broken! It's broken to a point some enemies have attacks that make you get stuck inside them. And since you have almost no post-hit invincibility, they drain your energy faster than you can even understand what's going on.
No invincibility is a death sentence in this game. Most of the enemies designed in a way that if you get hit, you're doomed to get hit multiple times. The beginning of the game is really frustrating as you only have 3 HP, and it gets drowned really, really quickly.

The stage design seems to be blunt and random. Most of the weapons shoot in a straight, but there isn't much enemies that are aligned enough for you to hit them, so your best bet is getting a sniper rifle and brute-forcing yourself through the stage, as it's the only weapon in the game that automatically aims for you.

Enemies are some real ♥♥♥♥. I already mentioned the Ninjas that get stuck inside you, but in NG+ they really got carried away with bullshitting you. Mortires are my faviourite - they spawn bombs that drop straight down. One of the stages had like 20 of them, so they covered entire screen in one big explosion. It's always nice to lose because the game decides so.

The visual design is lame, boring, lazy, and cheap. Some elements took effort and it's visible, but the other are just a few colors mixed in with little to no detail whatsoever.

The story is... why is it there again? It's boring.

Now let's talk about the game. It has NG and NG+ modes - which is understandable. Byt why NG+ is essential to the plot? How many examples do you need to understand, that making you play the game TWICE is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. NG in this game is like 30% of the deal. The real ♥♥♥♥ starts in NG+, and you don't want it.

Overall a freaking brainless button masher. Just get a sniper rifle and tap X to win.

EDIT: Lack of support and game-breaking bugs make this game unplayable. Seriously, it somehow became worse over time, and my progress keeps getting blocked by some random bug that I can't overcome.

Also after many hours some design flaws begin to appear which makes this game much more boring after you play a while. I stil would've gave it a thumbs up if it didn't get stuck like every half an hour.

I had this in my library for a while now, but I only got the chance to play it now after my gf literally downloaded it and said "Here, play it"
I can't say I've been missing out on much. The levels are boring and repetitive, graphics are dull and unappealing. The most disturbing thing is that everything is red which makes it hard to realise what you can hit and what you can't hit, characters can sometimes become invisible (hiding behind other characters) which makes other players wonder where the hell did they go.
It's kinda sad that the second, the third and the fourth players always have to mash "A" after every level -- isn't once just enough? Apparently, it isn't. I didn't notice a major difficulty change after second player joined in, in fact I think the game became even less difficult. I don't think the enemies or bosses adjust to how many people are in your party, so with 2 players it quickly degradates to "Hold right and press X". I wonder what happens when you have 4, but where the hell I'm supposed to find two other players? Not to mention that left and down are barely used in this game, the only correct way is right or up.
I believe it was meant to be a "party" game, but it's not a good one. I already mentioned that other players always have to press "A" to enter the game, after every level. But besides that, they don't even have much controler over the game. If the first player dies - the level resets, no matter how many warlocks you have left. First player dies - all 4 go back. The first player also controls all the finaces so you can't really do much if you're a second player.
As a one-player game it doesn't even worth much. To sum it up, there's literally no strategy involved, you jsut go right while holding X and you win. To add some more, the game feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ eternity, even though I only played it for 2 hours. That's because they sure went quantity over quality on this one, making it 10 stages with up to 10 levels per stage, but those aren't designed well.
Overall, it's just unimpressive. Not horrible, but definitely far from being good.

This is happening. I'm finally enjoying a game! How did I come to that? If you look at my reviews, I usually just trash everything left and right. But this is a very special case.
I was really sceptical after my first play -- couldn't get past through the first level because I kept getting reset at that annoying maze section, so I put it aside for quite a while.
But after I gave it a proper go, after I dealt with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ maze, the game really began to shine in all its passion. What makes it so good?

The level design!
The levels aren't something thrown together just to have a level. If you take a closer look, levels are actually built in a unique way, the elemts are perfectly timed and most of the time self-explanatory. They, surely, have some puzzles thrown in to make you wonder what to do next. Thinking is generally encouraged in this game, which is a giant relief in comparison to other modern games that literally play themselves.

Gameplay
The gameplay is astonishing. All the elements make perfect sense, and there is barely anything that is out-of context or skipable. The game is getting progressively harder, which means you can get good at the first level and will fail on the second. Not because of them being unfair, but because each utilises new mechanics and patterns, so you always have to adapt to new stuff and develop new techniques.

Control
The most important of all, the control. I feel in total control of the character. Nothing feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, everything is responsive and the mechanics are abusable. Yes, you heard me -- you can use your character to your advantage, and the game actually encourages it! Learning the game actually pays back -- it's so damn enjoyable to feel the mastery of a level, when you can jsut rush through a fairly difficult level with no mistakes.

I've been waiting for a game I could call good for a long time. And DeepWeb really deserves the every minute I spent on it so far, and hopefuly I will spend much more minutes. Good job RAXAT, you really did something amazing with this.
But please, add a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ checkpoint after the maze, I beg you.

Oh boy I loved this game. I truly did, but if I want to be objective -- this game sucks.

Bad level design, bad character design, bad story, bad everything. This game is literally an attempt to fan service, which they did, becuase as a fan I truly loved the game. As a critic (hehe, first time applying that to myself), I absolutely hate the obvious attempt of delivering yet another Sonic game.

Let's get to the point. I've beaten the game in 3 hours. 3! It never took me this short to beat a sonic game, like come on! But to tell you the truth, the game isn't really that short compared to other Sonic titles (for a proof, see speedrun times). It's just too easy and you are almost doomed to never fail, unless you face the obviously flawed level design and just fall down the pit that you thought wasn't a pit.

Bossfights are as generig as they can possibly get, they make zero sense and they are plainly boring.

The thing that I truly hated was the plot, but I'd rather not mention it at all -- it's that bad.

But hey, on a bright side you can make your own character. A thing we didn't want, but a thing we deserved :/
