This game has explosively loud noise that seems to be ignored by others.
When you fire your gun and hit enemies, you will want to tear your earphones off.

I'm not sure how it is for speakers, but my guess is that it sounds like your speakers are dying too.

It's really terrible and takes a whole lot out of the game experience and it's profound how it managed to even pass into the release of the game.

A handful of users definitely agreed with you.

We just rolled out a patch that dramatically lowers these sounds, to bring the audio balance to a place where these 'impact sounds' won't feel like they are drowning everything else out.
We hope that between this, and the ability to control the Master/Music/SFX independently in the Audio Settings, that you will find an acceptable level of volume control that won't take you out of the game.
