Definitely early access. It has bugs. Balance is constantly changing. But it's so fun.

Excellent game for Warhammer and Total War fans. For just Total War fans, it's a fun fantasy option, but the long list of DLC is hard to justify if you're not a fan of the source material. The characters have unusual amounts of personality for a Total War style game, which is quite fun. Be sure to zoom in close so you can hear the soldiers bantering. Different factions can have vastly different playstyles and deep faction specific mechanics, so there's something for almost every kind of grand strategy player.

One of the most relaxing and satisfying games I've played. Great for chilling with music or an audio book. There are enough levels already that I feel like I got my money's worth, and there's more to come. If you're a fan of the "satisfying" genre of YouTube videos, you need to check out this game.

A very solid home remodeling / decorating / house flipping sim. Very satisfying gameplay as you create order out of chaos that is abandoned, trashed houses. Even without future expansions and support, I would easily get my $20 worth of play out of this title. Since they already have a free day 1 DLC for added content, I'm pretty sure we can expect more content DLCs in the future. Every feature from the trailers has been included in some fashion. You may see some reviews that say otherwise, but I haven't seen anything missing from my own play time.

I like the game, but I recommend Car Mechanic Sim 2015 more. It's grindy as heck. 2015 required you to wait a little while to unlock the tools for a complete car restoration, but 2018 makes you wait ages. I was sick of brake and transmision jobs that were all the same, but they were the quickest way to earn XP that would unlock the abilities I wanted. If you get this game, do yourself a favor and use the profile name cheat to unlock it all at once. That way you won't be sick of it by the time you actually get to do the fun stuff like fully restore a car you find in a barn.

The game is neat and engaging for a while, but the incoming 911 phone calls start repeating and becoming annoying pretty quickly. I'd love a mode where you can turn those off, and just manage the incoming text alerts and route units through the city. I really like the feature where you can play in the city of your choice, playing with maps and info I assume they are pulling from google maps.

This game is heavily spreadsheety, to the point where there's not much game to it. It's all financial decisions, buying and selling assets that have assorted impacts on your production and expenses. You can sell materials on a free market or sign up for contracts. If spreadsheets with a plot is interesting to you, this may be your game. If you want something more like a tycoon game, I'd pass.

Can't really comment on the other entries saying how awful this game is, because I can't get past their moronic online login BS. Registered, but never got a confirmation email. Can't play the game without logging in. And if you need help, you can get a reset link emailed to you, but I never received them. Tried checking my email, it was entered correctly. Tried checking spam filters, it's not there either. So, I'll never know if the game is as bad as reported, because their online login system is horrible.

Yes this game has been abandoned. But what is there is still really fun. You can lose hours and hours in it. Sadly my hours played doesn't show the time sunk into the game before it hit Steam.

I might call the game a Dwarf Fortress lite with Majesty hero mechanics. I love the production ordering system. The almost Minecrafty building system is cool.

As an added bonus, the game works well on very old hardware. I can even play it fantastically on my GPD Win, so I have Towns in my pocket on the go.

Motion Sickness Warning!

I want to love this game, but the automatic camera makes me sick like no other game has.

PLEASE give us manual camera control with the right stick! Without it, I'm not going to be able to play this game and can't recommend it to others. :(
