FYI: Woke still means being alert to systemic injustice. It has still nothing to do with "communism" or "our kids" (you wrote both these things). When a rapper inm the 90s raps about "its getting harder in the hood because folks are struggling", thats woke. If you recognize that the past influences the here and now, as MULTIPLE scientific schools from biology to social science have proven it, then you are woke as well.
