It's Hades II. If you've played the first one, you probably expected it to be good. It is. If you haven't, I assure you, you'll like it. Play them both, they're good stories with good gameplay. Very involving. Very engaging.

Geneforge 2, the first Geneforge game I played. The mystery and unique world caught my eight year old self off guard. I wasn't sure what I expected but it sure wasn't this. I absolutely loved it, though. The intrigue and politics flew right over my head. All I knew was that I had to find Barzahl. Now that I understood the true magitude of the complex plotline, I really started to enjoy the game. When I first discovered the depressing fate of my poor mentor, I was crushed. I despised Barzahl for what he had done to me and wished for revenge. Unfortunately, I think I died. A lot. Then again, everyone dies in Geneforge. Overall, it's a great game. Get it, please. You won't regret it, hopefully.

As an avid worshipper of Spiderweb Software, I was hooked to this game in a matter of minutes. Much like the Geneforge games, I've realized that my choices will only REALLY start to effect the gameplay later in the game. I dread the day where I will have to turn against my companions for what I view as the greater good. I may have to kill the Avernites, leaving nothing before me. Or maybe I'll become the new king, I honestly don't know. Right now, I'm content with delivering wine to the miners of Fort Draco. This is definitely one of Spiderweb Software's best. As much as I adore the Geneforge saga, this game takes the title of "Best Spiderweb Software Game." Or at least my personal favorite.

Gameplay wise, it's good, but a little complex. Graphics are a 4.5/10, but they aren't bad for an entirely free game.
