It might not be fair to "downvote" this game for that reason, but I feel it needs to be mentioned. The "Steam" version of the game also bundles a ton of crapware that gets installed on your PC, whether you want it or not. Namely, it installs Ubisoft's "Uplay" DRM/Steam-like system. It also forces you to create an Uplay account.

Basically, Steam serves as a glorified CD-key seller, whereas your CD-key actually needs to copied and activated on UPLAY.

I think this is unacceptable. We buy games on Steam, because it's a streamlined delivery method, and the DRM is handled by Steam itself (or at least transparent to the user). If Ubisoft wants to shove their DRM and services down everyone's throat, that is fine, but Steam should not be enabling them without being very explicit to their players.

Of course, there are no refunds, and uninstalling the game DOES NOT remove all of the installed crapware.
