Wiceppidus and his men stand before a towering forest, with trees as dark as the midnight sky. Within the forest awaits a ravenous Germanic tribe consisting of namesless barbarians, seeking plunder and riches. Each side stares at one another, waiting for the other to make the first move, though both stay in their fixed positions, tense and ready to fight.
