Let's ignore all of the bugs in this game. For the most part they were more humor than detriment. If I could ride around on my motorcycle by floating above it naked in a T-pose I would totally do that all the time.

Ultimately Cyberpunk makes me realize just how great Saints Row: The Third is by comparison. Cyberpunk may have a better realized city than Steelport will ever be, but Steelport actually felt complete. Cyberpunk, a game with flying cars in the sky that doesn't let you get much about the 3rd floor lest you figure out that the city above you is fake? A police force that teleports behind you so reliably that you can just spin around and start shooting? The game set up a police force that drops in from the sky on transports from the 2nd mission, and this capability is never seen again. The emphasis on tiny details like all of the text and messages everywhere fleshes try to create a living city, but they missed so many big details of the actual city in the process.

Night City is beautiful, its unique people are interesting, its branching story is compelling, but it feels like CDPR bit off more than they could possibly produce with limited time and budget. I'd trade less Keanu if that money could have gone to making Night City more real. I hope this game is completed some day and I'll probably come back and visit it again when it is, but the longer I play it the more disappointed I am in what it could be. I want to go fly to the top of Arasaka tower, crash my car into it, and then go base jumping down to Militech tower. Let me park a car in front of the train and see what happens. Let the police actually chase me down in their superior equipped vehicles.

I'll be back for Cyberpunk 2078 whenever that comes out. You've already got a start on a good game here, just let it bake another 5 or 6 years until it's done.

The hoards of zombies aren't the monsters.
The other humans you run into just trying to survive in this crazy world aren't the monsters.
You are the real monster.

You monster.

Eh, it's ok

(This review is going to look increasingly absurd as the hours counter goes into the hundreds)

I want to like this game. The idea is sound, the controls mostly work. I was just hoping for more than just PVP.

I will be revisiting this game at a later time when it comes out of Early Access to see if it's more fun. Please keep working on it. I do want more stompy robot games, but this wasn't really the experience I was looking for.

Don't be fooled! SUPERHOT VR pretends to be a game but in reality it's an sneaky way of getting you to work out. After 3 hours of playing my legs hurt from all of the ducking and dodging, my arms hurt from all of the slicing and throwing things, my heart rate is up, and I'm sweating.

Clever, very clever SUPERHOT team.
