Played ME series first time round on release and its by far my favourite games. Story is solid, sound track is amazing, voice acting is spot on and the graphics art has always held up and been pleasing. The series is SO immersive and that is mainly due to the story telling, but mixed with the audio, just hits you and you genuinely start caring about the characters, not to mention your choices. The games interweave and refer back to each other and ALL your choices have an effect on the outcome of the game and into the rest of the series.

Only thing that bugs me is the MAKO controls in ME1, its horrible to drive and exploring the worlds to find everything can be incredibly tedious, even with a guide. The developers really go out of their way to make the terrain as annoying as possible to get around sometimes and the controls for the MAKO really do get annoying (jankie).

In the second game you have to scan planets and frankly you want to give up doing it after you've done a few solar systems.

good for playing with my mates

I love how the devs fill the GoW games with lore and incorporate the large scale environment into boss fights. No other game has such an interaction with the environment around the player. The game isn't afraid to pull on the players heart strings and they do an amazing job of making the characters come to life.

Only thing i found a problem with the game is that the controls can be clunky and none responsive at times, especially after certain actions in fights.

The world is beautiful and immersive. Even on low graphics, the game still looks great, but playing it on high/medium gives extra depth and more detail in skills and particle effects.

Can't wait for the next installment.

Some of the game can feel repetitive but overall, I'm enjoying it immensely
