Max Payne 3 is an absolute gem. The gameplay is smooth and intense, the bullet-time never gets old, and the story — while very different from MP1 and MP2 — pulled me in with its darker tone and emotional depth. I actually liked the change in direction, and the ending was surprisingly satisfying. Graphics are still impressive even today. Rockstar nailed it.
