This is probably the most fun in a game I've ever had. The combat is so smooth, the graphics are literally out of this world (even running on my old RX 570) and I actually quite enjoyed the story, I don't know why so many people don't like it.

Overall, this game is a solid 9/10. It's only falters are sometimes it can feel a bit clunky, and that you really have to buy the DLC to experience everything (the Blood Ties DLC is SO good.) If this game is on sale, get it! It's 100% a no-brainer to buy it. It's just such a well done experience and it's such a good use of your time.

While this game is a classic, Cities Skylines just outdoes it in every way. It might be that because this is an old isometric game and CS is in 3d, but CS just does it better, and more. The only real reason to buy this game nowadays is either for nostalgia (people who played it back in the day) or Sims 2 functionality. I chose the latter, I am a TS2 simmer and I like to use the game to create maps for my custom neighborhoods. However, that's all the game is really good for nowadays. Buy Cities Skylines.

Getting to kill racists and boomers is very satisfying. Also the story is amazing or something idunno.

It's probably the worst EP for TS3 there is. The only reason I bought this was for the CAS items which are pretty good. If you prioritize gameplay over aesthetics try University Life, which has good gameplay and aesthetics. I already have University and I love it!

Fun nostalgia blast! Worth it on sale

It's probably a good game, but the control scheme in this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TERRIBLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ even after 10 minutes it's literally unplayable with a keyboard

Jesus this game is good. Great movement mechanics, charming characters with personality, and the level design is SOOO REWARDING. please please please please get it. you won't regret it :D

I'll be honest; this is probably my favorite game EVER. It's my go to game when I'm bored, and it's the reason I even joined steam in the first place; because this game is so cheap when it's on sale. It's amazing, the gameplay is great for the price (even when not on sale!) and I have sunk SO many hours. (It only looks small, because most of my gameplay time on this game is spent offline; and therefore not recorded)

People have been complaining of the bugs that this game brings; and they kinda have a point, because this game is very broken, UNMODDED. This game has a very active modding community, and they have almost patched in all of the holes that EA left in on release. It's honestly amazing, and if you have any problem, you can always go to the VERY active community for help.

Let's not even talk about the custom content scene. (similar to the modding scene, but it's for custom content like hairs, clothing, etc) I have spent LITERAL HOURS just fretting which texture to use, which default eyes looks better, mindlessly clicking "Download this" on any Sims CC website available.

And the core of the gameplay. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'S SO GOOD. There are those small, tiny, details, like the outcome of an opportunity that you forgot to fulfill, or the scary music when a burglar comes in, that make this game as awesome as it is, and also why many people are still playing this game, because the sequel to this game, The Sims 4, is VERY lacking in these EXACT details.

People complain about the DLC a lot, but TBH it still has more content for the price than something like The Sims 4. (Can you notice I REALLY hate the sequel?!?!) Anyways, this game is worth playing, for any purpose you want: 3 hour fun with a weird looking green dude that woohooes everyone? 80 hour fun with a perfect white-picket fence family? Your choice!

Please buy this game, to show EA that they're doing the sequel wrong, and that they already did all of this right, if only they would fix all of the holes that they left on launch. What if they do fix it? Ah, a simmer can dream. :)
