Heartbreaking, waited for months before I try out this game, thinking it's finally ready with 1.0 and would be a good time. It just.. isn't.
It had a strong start, the first boss was simple but great, being a decently challenging but not unfair fight considering you have limited mobility at this point. Flawed yes with some telegraph (fireball rain) not really that well done. It went downhill from there.
The game shows you the gameplay/progression loop pretty much immediately. Go to new biome, get the summon item which usually means mining around a bit for new ores/materials (skippable by sending miner to errands instead, because beating a boss unlocks next ore tier mining task), sometimes find the summon area, kill the boss, repeat the cycle. There's almost never any twist. It just ends up repetitive and boring. The biomes are essentially same ish as well.
The bossfights are pretty much easy and not really that notable, a lot of the unique things just feels like gimmick instead of a mechanic. Also, I play melee and it's generally pretty bad in boss fights except for one weapon, disproportionately so compared to other classes because the bosses are generally so mobile you need dash to catch up, and projectiles originate from bosses so you cant dodge as well on top of running out of dash.
The other thing is that how much the game copies stuff from terraria, often items/bosses/mechanics doing exactly the same things. It goes from "cool it's like in terraria" to "can they get more blatant? cant they be more original?" over time.
The only part that feels unique and well done is the settlement system, but at the same time it feels like they're ultimately just resource generation/automation disguised. And there's less control over it unlike, say, palworld, where you can assign specific tasks.
For what it's worth, it's cheap, and there's still a decent game here. I just can't recommend it. The best part of the game is how it makes me crave more terraria for combat/exploration and minecraft for automation again.

Absolute perfection and worth the years of waiting.
Lived up to its hype.
Looking forward to the DLCs.

This game is a gem. A beat em up with pretty interesting mechanics. It can be hit and miss, but to me a lot of the unique mechanics are good hits.
I'll have to say though it's better played as a playthrough game, something you play and progress through together with the same people, and not treated as a party game where people just play for a session and be done with it. That said, the game isn't that long, you can beat the game within 20 hours.
The game also has very good online coop implementation, it's pretty smooth and i only encountered a few minor bugs (which only happens when someone is really laggy)

In my opinion, despite the genre, this game is also more fitting for RPG players or at least gamers that can appreciate the puzzle aspect, especially better if you can discuss it with friends. The riddle/puzzles aren't easy at all and requires some thinking, especially the first one since you don't always expect puzzles from games of this genre to need out of the box thinking.

Difficulty wise it's generally pretty fair, a lot of the bosses aren't really that difficult but they generally have adds and that tests your ability to keep track of multiple different attacks and prioritizing some targets. There are some significant difficulty spikes here and there though, could've been smoother, but nothing too unmanageable. The game itself is also pretty generous and you keep the money/mastery you get even from failed runs (and each transitions/waves generally give you money rewards), so retrying a stage doesn't really feel bad at all.

Solid pick especially for online co-op.

It's hard to give this a negative review, but the game is just not good at the moment. There is HUGE potential for a good game here, but right now it's all the grind while at the same time hyper casual and repetitive.

The biggest issues:
- Everything you make boils down to making money. The items you craft from professions are literally purely for selling, 0 utility.
- Some professions are practically the same and just a duplicate with different label. Cooking and brewing are both farming based, blacksmith and jewelcraft is mining based. Literally the only difference is what you choose to farm/mine for. With the point above, the only purpose for picking "related" jobs is to maximize profit from doing the same activity, at that point they should've been merged.
- Compounding with the point above, the professions don't have any unique effects either. Whether you're a blacksmith, jewelcrafter, or neither of those, mining is still mining and it's the same. At most you'll decide to skip things you can't use, but the experience of mining for copper/bronze/gems is effectively the same.
- Again compounding with the point above, things like mining is required for tool progression (unless you decide to buy ores), temple exploring for getting more lumas, so you're bound to do some of these things even if you're not the right profession, it makes some professions feel mandatory or feel like the "right" choice.
- There is 0 threat or consequences in the game. Enemies exist but literally they can't kill you, only make you drop items (which is both 0 consequences and annoying at the same time). The game isn't just forgiving, it literally doesn't punish you at all. The only content with possible consequence is archaeology, but even that one only punishes you by needing you to retry the dungeon from the start.
- Too formulaic. The progression is samey between areas and very predictable. There's differences but not major enough. For example, for profession it's always craft 5 items and then rank up and repeat. Tool progression is also 5 steps. The game literally makes this pattern obvious too by having the craftable be 5 items per row (making 1 row = 1 area), it feels so rigid.
- Farming is too hands on, but due to the problems above it feels unrewarding and just feels like a constant chore. You need watering for one thing, which is solved by sprinklers but as usual in these kind of games, sprinklers unlock pretty late. And you either need to replant manually or fertilize plants if they dont need replanting. Ironically, the plants grow too fast, so if you have a big farm you end up having the plants be ready again by the time you're done with the chores. This means that you don't have time for anything else, you end up needing to neglect farming if you want to do other things (or keep your farm small).
- The game pushes for being a cozy vibe, but there's actually not much you can do in terms of making a cozy base either. Maybe the better furnis are unlocked later on? But I've obtained like half of the unlockable recipes and they're mostly pretty bad. Boulders, trees, pots, modern vehicles, the best ones were like street lamps. And there's no dressing up either. Nor is there any terraforming.
- Another factor is in multiplayer, the profession system encourages you to get different professions to maximize your earnings from professions. This can be a good coop factor, but due to the other things mentioned in this review (aka the gameplay being bad), it just makes the game feel lonely. So the coziness is probably what carries the coop, but different professions means that you can't even hang out together that much because you'd be doing different activities.

All in all, the game has potential, but it has big issues that makes it not fun. This feels like putting "cozy" before the "game". And in a lot of cases, you need to pick between cozy or game.

the game has good potential and has interesting mechanics, even gathering has a minigame that can keep you interested without it feeling forced (unlike typical survival games where it's just hold a button, you can do that here but it's slower than participating in the minigame), and the nutrition and building system is definitely interesting.

While it doesn't feel polished yet (stuff like crappy targetting is still a thing, and the fact that the game console is forced to be visible on a new window), it's an interesting game and the concept works, so I'll say it's worth a try.

Edit: I'm adding a new review now that I've been putting this game on hold/maintenance mode, as I've reached my endgame in terms of content (highest tier gear, comfortable in terms of economy, and having a base i'm satisfied with). My old review is still available below.

At the time of writing (9 Jul 2021), the devs hasn't communicated anything for several months now, and there's no news about the latest update (nor is there any significant update). I've put the game down for about 3 months now. However, the servers are still up and the players are still playing (although to my knowledge the player count is getting smaller), which is questionable for an MMO.

This game isn't all sunshine and rainbows, but imo it's still a solid game and worth the money despite the problem, and I'll still recommend it.

I still stand by my list of pros/cons in my old review, but I'll add some more:
Pros:
+ Accessible, due to the community being generous where everyone can get end-game tier tools and access to basically any planet for cheap (or even free). This also somewhat counters the 2nd and 3rd cons in my old review, as the players that buy resource planets tend to open it to the public and let anyone use it freely.
+ Adding to the point above, no item in this game is player-bound. If you can craft it or store it, you can always give it to someone else or buy it from someone else. This allows quick access to the current endgame without spending much time (imo it's possible to reach the endgame tools and midgame character level in 1 day if you utilize the player economy/services correctly)
+ Although some methods are betters than others, I think a lot of methods are viable for getting money, except maybe building (building reward depends on visitor, but the playerbase is so small I doubt it's relevant unless you own portal hubs)
+ Despite the small community, it has good tools and info hubs/sources with data taken directly from an API provided by the devs, so in terms of information and guides, this game is great.

Neutral:
~ While money farming is viable in various ways, exp farming isn't, mining or crafting (or both) is the best exp yield, while the other activities aren't so effective. However, these 2 activities are very effective and if you're dedicated you can level up very easily and rapidly.
~ Exoworlds. The concept is great: A temporary planet spawns periodically, and these planets have unique loots you can't get in permanent (or player bought) planets. However, most of these temporary loot don't respawn, and in reality the planet will not have much useful resources after a day has passed. Most likely, a huge chunk of the planet precious resources are drained by the few lucky/hardcore players that happens to be online while the planet spawns.
~ A lot of systems have potential, but as it is right now it's frustrating, annoying, or even outright terrible. For example, the forging system is great and has complexity, being a minigame where you try to mitigate RNG to get the stats you want. But as it is right now, there's basically 1 main method (with minor tweaks) and that's it. There's not enough RNG mitigation and even the best forger will be frustrated by rng.

Cons:
- Chat is horrendous, worst one yet between all the multiplayer games i've ever played that has chat. It's not real time (except for certain channels like shout afaik), it's not guaranteed to be received in the correct order, and sometimes it doesn't even send entirely. It's client-sided too so you can't tell that the chat has problems if no one told you. Use external app like Discord.
- Not much content. If you like building or socializing, the game is amazing and might last for a long time. But if you don't, there's not really much to do. Progression is short (and skippable), and in the endgame, there's not much to do either aside from building. Aside from getting materials to remake (or rebuy) your broken tools, they'll be mostly for building. It's really like minecraft in this aspect.
- Adding to above, there's no real challenging content either. Hunts are just fighting swarm of mobs. Mining lava isn't difficult to handle.

---- Old Review----
A hidden gem. I expected a glorified minecraft, but this is so much more than that. A lot of MMOs nowadays are just "playing single player game together", but this game isn't one.
Looking at other reviews, I expected a dead community too, but it's absolutely not dead, it just has a small playerbase (compared to most MMOs at least), there's still tons of hubs and malls and other builds. You won't meet other players often, but you will meet them (In a sense, think of it like the community of a private server, except with boundless it's an open world, so you'll very rarely meet other players outside of hubs and such).

Pros:
+ Best community i've ever seen in gaming. Ever had a game where some players prepare "starter kit" for newbies? How about other players giving you the things they're selling for free? Or when you're having trouble keeping up with a group hunt, so other players either waited for you or even gave you the tools to catch up?
+ Very versatile for building, chisels allow you to shape blocks, and while they're predetermined shapes, there's a lot of shapes you can make (stairs, slabs, slopes, diagonal slopes, etc) so they can cover almost all your building needs. There's also a lot of colors (256 possible colors each block i think) for almost all blocks, even for crafting stations, so it's really great.
+ Rewards almost all activities, unlike most games where XP is only from combat/quests, this game gives them for almost anything. Placing blocks give exp for builders, crafting gives exp, exploring new area gives exp, killing mobs give exp, and so on. There's different quests/achievements for each activity too
+ Creative mode worlds exist if you just wanna build or test things
+ Practically nothing is time-gated or limited. Inventory? Make more storage blocks or chests. Plots? Grind more xp. Hunts? No weekly limit.
+ Graphics are pretty good, definitely much better than vanilla minecraft

Cons:
- Nothing is permanent. Even your plot protection runs out at some point. It's easy to refuel (and doesn't need to do it that often, the lowest tier plot/beacon fuel is 1 month), but the thing is you have to refuel if you want to keep your things intact.
This means that if you quit for years, your plots are probably gone. However, you don't lose any block or item, it's just you need to put in the effort to rebuild if you return to the game.
- Limited amount of planets
- No personal planet unless you pay, but the player base is low enough so you have plenty of space on most if not all planets.
- UI and physics are annoying at times
- Connection issues, for me personally it's just rubberbanding at times.

Neutral/Remarks:
~ Crafting takes time. Normally this is a cons, but it can be mitigated easily by either making more crafting stations (again, no limit, you can and prob will have a lot of crafting tables if you like stone/wood builds), or by using power coils to reduce time to craft.
~ Very community driven, there's literally no NPC in the game (except one that gives you tutorial in your spawn area), no spawn points (you enter a planet, even your starting point, by aiming to a place to warp to). However, the community has done a lot and the hub/shops/farms they've made is as good as any city in MMORPGs.
~ Skill points are limited per tree, with some nodes being mutually exclusive. This means that a single character can't do everything. However, you can easily make alts. Buying more skill pages (a new skill tree) also allows a single character to do more, but you need to level up a lot more (which gets harder until you hit the cap, where xp to "level up" becomes static or so).
~ Small playerbase. On the good side, this means it's not too crowded. On the bad side, you'll only really meet people in hubs, and chances are you've met them before

Fun game to play with friends. A bit boring solo, but with at least a second player, the game gets more fun.

A pretty good choice for people that want to play coop games, especially if you like dungeon crawlers/bullet hells and make fun of eachother.

Even worse than GooCubelets.

The new black tile restarts the whole puzzle when any blocks is in it's radius (1 block in each direction), combined with the camera and long-ass puzzles, it's just trying to prolong the game instead of actually being a challenging puzzle (that black cube can be replaced with a 3x3 wall and it'd be better), I don't even bother going past level 15.

Decent enough, some puzzles are obvious/boring, but some others are interesting.

Mechanics isn't exactly taught properly, but it isn't so hard to figure out
