In the 2.2 hours I've been playing this, I haven't enjoyed myself for one single bloody minute. If it weren't for my son who wants to play anything as long as it has cars and co-op multiplayer, I'd never touch this game with a ten foot pole.

A very short amateur platformer with broken platforming and primitive puzzles. Basically unfinished and likely won't be finished anytime soon. You can get all the achievements in under two hours so it's a very cheap way to tingle your sense of accomplishment, I guess. Only cost me 150 tenge so it's a very good deal for those who are into cheap games but otherwise there are better indie platformers on Steam.

It's intriguing. The car maintenance aspect is nicely done and the whole cross-country trip premise is very cool. The controller support seems to be an afterthought though, which is a shame.

It's pretty good. Some balancing issues here, some bizarre bugs there, a lot of obviously missing content everywhere but the game is very much playable and extremely enjoyable already. The tutorial will put you to sleep at least twice before you beat it but just relax, the game is not that inpenetrable, really. Just begin as a countpetty king on the noob island (Ireland), start the clock and watch things happen. It will start making sense in the process.

Oh yeah, and you might as well get it now before the inevitable expansions modify and twist and complicate the core gameplay beyond recognition and the UI becomes more cluttered than the cockpit of a 60's strategic bomber. The game is delightfully streamlined and simple (but not necessarily easy!) at the moment so now is the best time to jump in if you've never played CK before.

I feel like the whole "sexing dolls" side of the game everyone seems so attracted to is just the tip of the iceberg. A red herring, as it were, that obscures a more interesting aspect of the experience, the child's deconstruction of the "clounds in the car" scene in the Titanic film.

I feel the thought process of the child trying to make sense of the scene is what is the most important and interesting in the game. It shows us how we should sometimes question what we see in cinema, how trying to analyse the experience can be the joy all in itself. The reflexion upon the film might turn out to be the pivotal point in this innocent child's mental development and lead her to the stellar career of a film critic later in her life.

Truly, there's more in this game that meets the eye. I don't regret a single minute of the 1.7 hours that I spent playing it.

This game is now out and it STILL sports an abusive always-online DRM scheme. Nowhere in the steam store page does it state that, either.
Please take this into account when you're considering purchasing this game.

This game doesn't sell itself too well. The features are not there, the level of polish is abhorrent, bugs and glitches are abundant. It doesn't even look that good, with all the bland sand and rocks and ridiculous slopes and buildings that hang in the air. According to the author's blog, there's a lot in store for this game, but with the current frequency of updates, I'm not sure if it gets anywhere anytime soon.

It actually makes me feel sad. The intentions are undoubtedly good, but after playing this game for some time - and waiting for it to improve for QUITE some time - I can't recommend it to anyone.

No, it doesn't have online multiplayer, and yes, it does have obnoxious Uplay DRM, but the game itself is as wacky and eclectic and beautiful and funny and addictive as it gets. With tight controls and quick pace and comfortable learning curve and mind-blowing musical sections, it's one of the best platformers to grace the PC platform. I mean it, get it if you're into this stuff.
Or better yet, buy a console version, they've got none of that DRM ♥♥♥♥.
