TL:DR - Relatively short story but enjoyable for what it is. Good idea but slightly botched execution

Coming from a person who prefers older NFS's (Prostreet, Carbon, Underground, Most Wanted) this was pretty enjoyable for a casual play through, though handling leaves a lot to be desired compared to older NFS's

In game graphics is pretty nice and runs relatively smooth on a 1080Ti, and gameplay is enjoyable but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cops at night are brutal, Heat 1/2/3 is manageable, but come Heat 4/5, pray you remember where fuel stations are cause youll be looking for them at every corner

Still dislike the collectibles idea to unlock certain cars but to some people, they like that sort of stuff to '100%' the game.

Its definitely much better than NFS Payback with the cards system to unlock parts but alot of stuff is still locked behind levels so grinding the game is needed, which is good/bad depending on how you look at it.

If you ignore everything and just pick the game up for intense cop chases and car customization, I could definitely recommend this game to anyone looking to buy the game.

TL:DR, get a bunch of friends to play with you, try to communicate well. 100% can recommend this game.


Long Review:
This game is basically Left 4 Dead 2 but 100x harder and needs constant communication on what you and your teammates should do, there isn't any spray and pray moments as you need to conserve ammo as much as you can (ammo is scarce throughout levels)

100% can recommend playing with friends (at least 2 extra friends, 1 friend is not enough to finish levels). Good communication is key as if there's any miscommunication, it could cost you your team's lives

Game does chuck you into levels and expect you to repeat and find out what you need to do as there's no hints on what you need to find/do. So do go watch some videos on how to play before you buy this game.

Level design and sound design is on point, perfect mix of horror and SciFi, and ingame sounds will give you hair raising moments.

Doesnt deserve the 'Not recommend' I gave but at the same time it doesnt deserve the 'Recommend' from me. 95% of the game is perfect, AI system works nicely, weather system is great, and the damage system is pretty good compared to most games in its price range.

However, there really isnt a storyline in this game compared to Grid 1 or Grid 2, this one is basically just race and finish all the events, I wish there was more tracks to race on but the current list is just too little to be enjoyed. The multiplayer system is also basically dead, no one plays it and youre stuck racing with 1 or 2 real people amongst the AI's in the race.

TL:DR, game mechanics wise is great but definitely lacking in content.

If you manage to pick it up around the 20USD range, it'll be worth it but at its current price its not worth it.

Good game.

This game is perfect for people who want to build custom PC's without forking out their own money from their wallet! Graphics are great and item updates come very frequently to ensure endless combinations of custom PC builds!
