I am usually not big on rogue-lites and I am absolutely not into the whole Lovecraftian "thing". Since I won the game earlier today though I decided to at least give it a try. And was very pleasantly surprised. So much so that I played it for over three hours already - coming back to it a few times during the day.

The game isn't perfect - the controls could be tighter, for instance - but it is just plain fun to play.

As a side-note: I am running the game on Linux - I had to force it to use the 6.21 version of GE Proton, since the game will work with newer versions of Proton, but the videos will not show.

I first saw a friend of mine streaming this game. My first impression wasn't too positive - nice graphics and music, but what about the game?

The further she got into the game, the more I starting admiring it. So much so that I bought it. Then when I wanted to stream it, I found out the game did not see my controller (on Linux, which is not officially supported, so I can't really blame the developers too much). I wanted to play it though, so I decided to buy it on the Switch too.

I played and streamed it and loved it. Yes, this is a (shortish) game, but most of all it is probably the most amazing experience I have ever had in 40+ years of gaming.

After completing Limbo for the second time, first time on stream, some viewers suggested I should try Inside. Bought it and played it during the same stream. It gave me just over four hours of great gaming!

Possibbly/probably the best Jackbox Party Pack yet. For once there is no weak game in the pack. If there is anything "negative" to say it would be that some of the games take relatively long to play, but the has its pros too.

Fun game, especially when played with a team of people that know each other well.

Now that the anti-cheat software used is actually available and the game therefor is easily usable on Linux, I can only be positive about the game. Just two "issues": It's too easy to get addicted to the game and the team-games can be thrown in the bin.

Tons of fun, but remember it is just a game - don't make it into a fight afterwards. :)
