While the game is way easier to get into than Mordhau, it doesn't mean that it's less fun. As a casual player, you'll find you're actually going to be able to kill people a lot more often than in Mordhau, due to the dumbed down combat mechanics. The game is easy to learn, yet hard to master, and it's easily the most fun melee combat game in 2022.

If you enjoy shooting bows be warned, the devs make it very clear that archers are pathetic little rats, squirming in the mud like pigs before they die an honorless death. Archer gameplay is still somewhat fun, but your character will feel like a total loser compared to the strong chad knights and even playing a peasant with a pitchfork will feel more honorable than playing an archer.
