After playing Rayman Legends over and over again years ago on the Xbox 360, the newly added achievements finally brought me back - this time on Steam! And what a nostalgic journey it has been so far.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. The level design, the music stages, the animations, and the sheer attention to detail are just as magical today as they were back then. It’s one of those rare games that feels timeless, bursting with creativity and charm from start to finish.

Revisiting it reminded me why Rayman Legends stands among the best platformers ever made, especially when played locally with friends. Few games manage to deliver this much fun, chaos, and laughter in couch co-op.

Every level feels handcrafted, polished, and full of personality. I really hope Ubisoft decides to make a proper follow-up someday.

The only downsides are technical. Not all resolutions are fully supported, and cloud saves don’t work when switching between PC and Steam Deck (at least not in the official way). It doesn’t ruin the experience, but it’s something to be aware of.

That said, Rayman Legends remains a joy to play and an easy recommendation. A beautiful, nostalgic return to a true classic.

A little game about climbing a mountain together with friends - what a sweet game and slightly chaotic!

You start out thinking it’s calm and peaceful, and a few minutes later someone is yelling for help while another slips off the edge in slow motion. I’ve rarely had so many funny and random moments in a game before.

Regular updates and achievements keep it fresh, and the difficulty on normal feels just right, enough challenge to keep you focused, but not enough to make you throw your controller. If you want more, harder challenges unlock as you progress.

For this price, it’s an easy recommendation. Cozy, unpredictable, and great fun with friends. Peak really reaches new heights!

Little Nightmares III - Early Impressions

After playing Little Nightmares III for a few hours, I have to say it’s not quite what I expected, especially compared to the first two games. I played it on day one, and in my opinion, it still needs quite a few patches, particularly for the multiplayer mode.

One of the most frustrating issues is that when transitioning to the next chapter, the game sometimes fails to continue for both players, forcing a partial replay of the previous chapter and additional loading times. Respawn points after death are also placed too far back, often making it very repetitive, opening the same door over and over again. I’m not sure if that’s a deliberate game mechanic to avoid loading scenes, but it doesn’t feel great in practice. There’s also a lot more trial and error this time around, which can quickly get tiresome.

Another strange design choice is that only the host keeps the save files. Why? It makes no sense for a co-op game, both players should be able to continue their progress independently. I’m not sure whether these issues are caused by the new multiplayer component, but for a game at this price, bugs and oversights like these shouldn’t exist on day one.

On the positive side, the graphics are beautiful, and it’s great that they added the option to play with a friend. But then again, no couch co-op? That feels like a missed opportunity for a game that seems made for shared experiences. Even though I’m playing it online, since my fellow Little Nightmares fan lives on the other side of the globe, couch co-op would have been a great addition, especially for a second playthrough with the Neighbor.

However, there are also some missed opportunities and a noticeable lack of attention to detail. For example, there’s a rat stuck in a mousetrap, and that’s it. You can’t help it, interact with it, or even react to it in any way. Small details like that would have added a lot of depth to the world, and their absence makes this game feel a bit emptier.

And for PC players, no support for super or ultra-wide screens in the actual gameplay. In 2025, that’s just disappointing, especially for such a visually driven game.

Overall, Little Nightmares III doesn’t quite capture the same atmosphere or emotional grip that the first two games had. At its current state and price, I’d only recommend it to hardcore Little Nightmares fans. Everyone else should probably wait until it goes on sale and the bugs are fixed.

But to be honest, I haven’t played it completely through yet, and there might still be some surprises waiting for me down the road. If that’s the case, I’ll update this review.

As a dedicated fan of SNOW, I'm disappointed by the removal of multiplayer, which has unfortunately rendered the game unplayable even in single-player mode. SNOW used to offer an incredible winter sports experience, allowing players to immerse themselves in its vast open-world. However, over time, multiplayer support was discontinued, making it impossible to enjoy the game even offline or complete achievements.

Such an amazing game, but at its current state, I can't recommend it. I urge the developers to consider releasing an update that restores offline playability. Many of us have invested time and money into SNOW, expecting a lasting and enjoyable experience. It's disheartening to see the game in its current state, still being sold on Steam without the functionality advertised.

Restoring single-player mode doesn't require ongoing updates; it's about preserving what made SNOW special in the first place!
