It's a nice game

I Alt-Tabbed out of the game to write this review. It's not bad, but it's not good either. The game is very similar to the Forza Horizon series. There are playlist races to play; you unlock them in sequence, but the game doesn't let you use your own cars. It gives you a predetermined car.

Since I don’t have any choice in the game, it feels like some kind of advertisement or showcase funded by governments to promote their own culture. I’m stuck in a six-minute race where I can’t even choose the car or the track, and it’s telling me about Hawaiian culture and stuff. Who cares? I just want to modify my car and race. You can only do that in a freeroam mode.

I got this game on sale, but I’m still wondering if it was worth it.

The recent Lord of Hatred expansion has raised serious concerns among players who previously purchased the Vessel of Hatred expansion. With the release of LoH, Blizzard removed VoH from the store and now includes it with the LoH expansion, which is priced at $40. On the surface, that sounds like a great deal, two expansions for the price of one.

However, if you’re one of the players who already bought the Vessel of Hatred expansion, you’re completely left out. There’s no discount for existing owners, no bonus cosmetics, and no store credit. Refunding VoH isn’t an option either and why should it be, when you’re essentially being asked to pay for the same expansion twice?

In practice, Blizzard is forcing prior VoH owners to repurchase content they already own. I was planning to pre-order the Lord of Hatred expansion, but after seeing these shady and anti-consumer tactics, I’ve decided not to. Honestly, that might be for the best.

Completely free to play game. You can completely ignore the store and still be fine. So those $50K ship news you see online shouldn't scare you. Quests are very fun, and the visual style, graphics, and scenery are absolutely breathtaking. I've never played an MMO before so I don't have much to compare this game against but I am having fun. This game lets you do whatever you want. There are lots of mini-games. It is worth trying out this game.

The maps are the main issue in this game. Compared to the previous Battlefield maps, the current maps in Battlefield 6 are very small. During the Open Beta, we were promised bigger maps but we are still waiting. Some maps don't belong to be in a game called "Battlefield". Battlefield is not about small narrow maps.

I don't care about the skins or the battlepass but stop advertising it to me with a full-sized splash screen everytime I open the game.

Why am I being forced to do a "challenge" on a game mode that I don't like. I don't want to play your 8v8 close quarter combat mode just to do a challenge for an xp boost. Yes, we do get re-rolls but they are limited. You can't force me to do anything in a game where I paid $70 for.

Even though the game supports ultrawide monitors and aspect ratios, the cutscenes are not ultrawide.

My issue with this game comes down to maps. I will update this review once they are fixed.

Way too punishing for no real reason. Just ends up being a time sink. The game demands way too much grind. Even magic mobs feel tanky. You can be under level 10 and suddenly an Abyss spawns with two rares inside that hit harder than actual bosses. The pacing feels painfully slow for no good reason. Honestly, you’re better off playing Path of Exile 1 in Ruthless mode, or just give Last Epoch a try instead.

I am very skeptical when it comes to clicker/idle games, thanks to Clicker Heroes 2 but this one is doing great so far. The art style is cool and its not overcomplicated. It has it's own unique mechanics. What else do you need? :)
