The only good bug is a dead bug

I've played CS since it's first incarnation. It has changed a lot over the years. While it is different to the classic 1.6, the fundamentals are unchanged and it's still fun to play.

The graphic enhancements and UI improvements are refreshing, giving new life into this old classic.

I'd strongly suggest playing with people you know, or completely disabling all in game chat. The community these days is far worse than it once was, and hacking is rampant. I'd say I encounter at lest 1 blatent wall hacker for every 2 games I play.

The problem is much less of an issue in competitive, which is where the real fun is if you have a good group of friends who can play regularly.

Despite it's age, this is still the pinnacle of first person shooters in my book. If you learn to play this game well and have fun, you will likely dominate in other shooters you pick up after only a short time.
