The game is unplayable in coop mode. Full stop. There is a bug when playing in coop mode that makes the game randomly pause and lag all the time. There are forum posts from years ago complaining that this bug even happens in local coop. Avoid this game if you want to play coop.

There are also some terrible design choices, like making your character flash red when you get hit in a game where you switch between red and blue. It makes it hard to tell what colour you are. Also the game is a bit of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to look at and the graphics are an eyesore. Lastly, the combat isn't even fun and most of the time it's quicker and easier to just take a hit from the enemies and use the invincibility frames to bypass them.

I have no idea how the developer can dare to call this game finished. This is NOT a finished game, it is incredibly buggy and even the most basic systems don't work very well. Combat is dreadful, hitboxes and collosion detection are bad (I'll be fighting a giant enemy and it just starts hovering over my head, unable to hit me), the quests bug out and don't work oftentimes, the quests themselves are boring MMO "go here and kill this" fare, the controls are terrible, the performance is garbage when playing multiplayer even though the game looks like a PS2 game. It's just bad all around, don't be fooled by the positive reviews like I was, it's a genuinely bad game.
