this is the best game. sometimes i get angy, but mann. this is the game.

I personally enjoy when games maintain their game elements, with lots of choices or player agency, so this game was an odd one for me. I really enjoyed it even if the primary "input" was making coffee sometimes. The writing, music, art, and character interactions are all phenomenal and the little easter eggs for making certain drinks at certain times really helps show the polish that went into this game, alongside the comics and gallery of art showing the evolution of the game [which was super interesting by the way!]

I should warn anyone looking for a cooking-dash or tycoon style game that this ain't it, but if you want a good few hours of story and well done world building, this is fantastic. I don't want to set unrealistic expectations nor sour the experience of playing the game, so I will simply recommend it as someone who typically isn't the biggest fan of these games. This one is a glorius exception.

This game is very old, yet plays with a very interesting platform puzzle concept and has one of the best endings to the game I've ever seen. Please do not look it up, I will not tell you what it is except that it evens works if you alt-f4 at the end!

I would also like to commend the game for, despite its age, having effective dynamic music. This is something modern AAA games still don't do well and this game nails it, pay attention to the music when the 2D guy is moving. Simple yet highly effective.
