On a singleplayer first-person classic kick atm. Just glad there's so many classics to choose from ( that I ALREADY own )

I'm more invested into games that have some very unique twist... usually strategy hybrids. Which is why I have 6 badges for Action / Strategy Hybrids
I lie to myself and tell myself that Grand Strategy Games have the most depth and the most meaningful experiences and therefore are "the most fun". But I have to drag myself into a Grand Strategy Game meanwhile I'll play a deathmatch FPS for hours at the drop of a hat. The eternal struggle.
I've tried to convince myself that aciton / strategy hybrids are "the perfect compromise", but alas. I still play deathmatch FPS at the drop of a hat regardless.

I've been on Steam since the very beginning.. since before it even had a store. Also, I like getting tons of cheaper indie games. And Steam Sales make it much much easier with the extremely low prices. Then game bundles on top of that for even more games even cheaper sometimes.

Yeah, Sanctum 2 is fun in co-op. I might need to get carried, though. I am not really good at it. If you like the game, there is a similar gameplay (3rd person fighter + tower defense strategy) in Orcs Must Die! and Orcs Must Die! 2 (and the latter has 2-player co-op option also). It is set in a magic/medieval type fantasy world though, instead of Sanctum's sci-fi space warfare theme.

You're playing System Shock 2? Isn't that supposed to be the best plot of a video game of all time--at least until Portal? I never played it; I'm waiting for the movie (or Syfy's miniseries).

If you're taking your time and focusing on the lore, you probably wont get to any of the good storyline within 2 months. Best would be to play through wc3, that would at least sum up until wrath of the lich king.
