I remembered my friend playing and liking this game years ago so I thought I'd give it a try. Sure, it looks old, but it's fun and challenging at times.

There are a few annoying bugs, like Valerie getting her head stuck inside a wall and refusing to move at certain stairway, which means that you can't finish the level. This happened to me more than once at the same spot, so it was not just one-off.

An OK sequal to a real classic. Didn't quite manage to create the same haunting atmosphere, and I probably won't play this through a second time.

A great little puzzle game that will keep you entertained for a few hours. The puzzles are not too difficult, but there were a couple of head-scratchers. The story was funny and the puzzles versatile enough that the game didn't become repetitive. This is also a good game to pass time, if you just want to solve a puzzle every now and then.

First of all, I love the original F.E.A.R. game. I just finished it for the second time and it was still worth the time. However, the Extraction Point expansion was very disappointing. On one computer it kept crashing every two minutes, and on another it didn't crash but slowed down until it was unplayable. I finished the game, but it took me twice as long as it should have because it is so buggy. However, I wouldn't recommend Extraction Point even if it had worked properly. I found it repetitive and boring, and at times plain silly compared to the original game. I had the same problems with Perseus Mandate on one computer, but on another it works just fine and seems to be more enjoyable than Extraction Point.
