if you want to try play around with the best settings for your 280hz screen, i would say around 320 fps would be the max peak point with Vsync off for the screen ..

use fps_max 0 or fps_max 280 -> 280 fps is the max fps your screen can true render, unless you overclock the screen to run 300hz then its 300 fps !
