A brilliant start, I'm looking forward to following this game's development. Takes all the best ingredients of other games in the same genre, shakes them in a zero-gravity blender, and creates a brilliant cocktail. Best enjoyed over ice.

Such a charming game. Just enough customisation options for creativity, and just enough management to be challenging. Well worth the price, and the DLC is great too.

It's the same, great, Farming Simulator formula with a few new mechanisms, gorgeous new maps, and some smart terrain deformation. A few graphical hiccups (unfortunately, to be expected day-one nowadays) that should be ironed out in hotfixes over the next few weeks, but ultimately, it's good to be back exploring again.

To the negative reviewers: please remember that FS22 had two years of DLC, so yes, there's a lot less content here currently, but still more than the previous game at launch. And the game engine has a bizzare "feature" where it loads shaders once you're playing, so you'll have graphical stutters for a good few minutes when you first start playing.

To Giants: please tone down, or add the ability to remove, the volumetric fog. It's too much, too often.

The best factory-building game ever made. Now in 1.0!

It had a rocky launch, but other than no real multiplayer co-op mode, this is the premier zombie game.

Great cinematic single-player story line, fun and interesting movement mechanisms, satisfying weapons. Rather enjoyed, but no interest in the multiplayer so can't review that. A fun way to while away five hours.

I give this game a positive review, because it truly is brilliant, but it does come with some caveats.

The game is the closest you're ever going to get to feel like you're living in a futuristic universe where you really can go anywhere and do anything. However, it's plagued by a wonky UI, clunky build system and irritating tutorial messages that you have no way of turning off (even with hundreds of hours in the game). Also, whilst there's a lot of width to the game's systems, there's not much depth to them. Which is a shame, because this truly could become one of the best games of all time.

However, after all my complaints, for what there is here you're going to get a good few hundred hours out of the game, and the bi-monthly community expeditions bring you back to play time and time again for unique rewards, cosmetics and ships. It's so close to perfect, but it could be a lot, lot worse, so overall I'm thankful we have this game.

Brilliant cosy-MMO with huge amounts of content for a game still in beta. The world truly feels alive, and the NPC characters are all interesting, with dialogue and stories that are obviously well thought-out and well written. Not as much of a grind as other games in the genre, and without a predatory premium currency (it's only used for cosmetic outfits). Bravo!

A very promising start to what could be a great survival-crafting game. The sneak peeks of future content make me very excited to continue exploring this universe. I've wishlisted the full game!
