The game could be so good, especially with the recent return to the original map... but matchmaking just absolutely sucks and I don't want to win in a lobby full of bots and then next handful of matches I'm being matched against sweaty players with over a thousand hours in the game.

My partner and I just beat the second boss. This game was made for couples and it will pull you right in. It makes you work together, you will shout, cheer, high five and huff and puff with frustration all in the same sitting. We are only 3 hours in and I can't recommend it more. We can't wait to finish the game.

SCUM is superior to DayZ. I just wish they would abandon the metabolism system. It's not fun and it feels forced. Otherwise, yes, this is better than DayZ. More modern, plays better, better combat. If you're the creative director of this game and you're reading this, forget about the metabolism system PLEASE!
