runs great on automatic settings + custom tweaks. if your hardware can handle it. there are known engine glitches and some artefacts here and there. not game breaking tho and they are fun to find. i love the development "lore".

overall graphics are very good. ambience is amazing. it suffers a tiny bit from ssr artfacting. it's a known limitation and fine tho.

gameplay is great. challenging as expected / wanted. new mechanics to get used too. that's on me to learn.

narrative and character design nags are a personal preference and i'll exclude it for this objective review.

the cinematic quality is very good. it breaks into the uncanny valley sometimes. although... the game is a couple years old now. some shots are very top notch tho for this time, that is before the remake of part 1. those animators did improve quite a lot.

overall 9+/10. nominal rating for the whole package.

i'm late to the party. i don't need the gameplay hours to review this. it is DMC in a rather complete form. story root in all parts. the heavy airtime combos from part 3 with the engine power of part 4 and resident evil.

this is great. and runs like a charme on ps4 level pc and laptop hardware, while it looks very good for the fantasy it displays. :)

neat lil ball game. very solid physics. ball can be precisely positioned. double camera works. and it looks good. the snooker ai is not the most advanced nor tactical, but that's what multiplayer is good for.

if you're fed up with tomb raider, get this one. hmmhmm

at review time i dunno how much of the story i have seen, yet. this is a great game tho. adventure gameplay, fluid traversal, puzzly things, environment art ofc. the cutscenes are top notch for what is a 2016 ps4 port. running great on my craptop. ig done it on this one.

i feel like i hurt myself, gettin' it on sale tho. cheapskate summer game vacation from last year. yo xD

great game. good story. well continued. no details or spoilers here ofc. i was not spoilered either. best cutscene was definetely the one shot. nice setup and cinematic action. i did not expect that. great. :D

finished in story mode. easy combat. maybe too easy in comparison to fallen order. gameplay is great. fallen order with some nice upgrades. will continue playing, i guess. try to complete it. i did almost 100 percent on fallen order too.

graphics are good enough for what my gpu managed to render. i have not seen the max extend tho, that's for sure. will reserve my full opinion.

(technical "issues" got resolved with appropriate setup and settings. stable and playable on a "budget" rig. no crashes, that were not on me, messing around. no big bugs, yet, will see if "completion" is possible. all good.)

it's a great game. love the story and how it's been told in the game. if you wanna get into it, you can. the cutscenes are top notch.

gameplay is great too. a balanced mix of stealth, shooting and close quarter combat, however you wanna play it. you will get stressed on the occasional encounter. yep. you can punch thru tho. it does it all. :D

this looks beautiful. good old source with nice lights and reflections. can it be modded too tho? the sdk is out there. we for sure can check the filesystem and maybe get it to work with a custom client. hl2 with more real eyecandy? yes please.

performance is great, considering it's rtx. latest driver had improvements. also moderate cooking/heatsoak on a laptop 3060 at 720p. nice and cool. i love it. :D

looks very good even on a humble high config. it can run nice and cool on a 3060 laptop. seems very well optimised at this point. there are minor bugs and animation glitches, but that's fine at this project scale.

nice lil story. love the portal universe. source 2 looks fine. physics are good.

1 con: i got a knockoff dual shock. i figured the gyro is off. bit hard to play with that.

solid "ports". emulation typical errors / av-sync issues in some cutscenes of dmc1. dmc2 is kinda light (even on emulation). it's fine, i guess. dmc3se was alyways basicly a decent pc-port and had a solid experience even on my old single core athlon, back then. yes, i played thru it. good thing here is the controller mapping of steam is way better then the janky hacks the old pc port had to use back in the days. runs even generic (my old) controller just fine. so... technically very playable.

specs note: runs just fine on a budget laptop, and using intel graphics even.

looking forward to finish dmc1 atleast this time (never did on the emu). will for sure replay dmc3 again. :D
