game has a ton of potential.
but nothing stacks, there's no clarity on anything, things MARKED AS ADDITIVE are functionally multiplicative, trinkets actually just get worse and lower your damage for 0 reason going into the 3rd zone, it offers you weapons and armor that are THE EXACT ONES YOU ALREADY HAVE and charge you for them
the entire game is massive spikes of difficulty gated behind long, long grinds of metaprogression, and there are NEGATIVE ASPECTS to upgrading your skills.
I understand what it's trying to be, and I appreciate it. but after beating the demo I do have to say it's not there right now.
I reccomend you play the demo, I do not currently reccomend you buy the game.

Most fun, polished, deep, and addictive beta I have played since like 2010. Still has some areas that need polish, not really being able to tell if friends are in dungeon, the chat system isn't super intuitive, and there just aren't enough dps classes especially with how... unique Tariqs kit is and how abrasive he is at very early level. But all in all that's such incredibly small potatoes, cuz the game to its core us fun, feels good, and has intense potential. Just give me outrageously sick weapon skins for doing hard content and I'm there for the long haul.
