So... What IS Undertale?

Well, you can say it's a classic RPG where you have to escape the underground. The protagonist Frisk journeys through the underground, and along the way encounters and battles many different monsters.

The difference between Undertale and others though, is that Undertale has one rule:

YOU DONT HAVE TO KILL

This provides different 'routes' depending on who you kill.
