This game is incredible! It is beyond worth the $8 price tag especially considering only 1 person has to own it. I'm honestly shocked that there are currently only 4 reviews, this game deserves to be popular as it easily competes with other similar tower games like Getting Over It, Jump King, and Pogostuck while being a unique experience.

Full disclosure, I have not beaten this game at the time of writing this, but I have beaten the demo with a few friends as well as made it past the first section above the demo in the main game. I felt obliged to write something because of how good of an experience this game has been.

It is purely co-op. You will need someone to play this with and they will need to be decent at platforming. If they are not, I still believe the game is accessible, but they will need patience and the ability to learn setups.

There is a pointer you can use with either the mouse or the right stick on the controller. It is extremely useful when trying to explain your thought process on solving a floor.

The design of each floor is immaculate. It teaches you things at a proper pace and then throws you in situations where it's not immediately obvious how to progress, which is why the pointer tool is so good. The falls are generally well calculated as well. They're properly punishing, but you'll find yourself flying through some sections you were previously terrified of.

The game is near perfect for what it is.

With all that being said, there are a few things I'd like to see fixed:

The pointer sometimes activates even when I'm not touching the right stick or my mouse. It's mildly annoying a worst, but it has happened to everyone I've played with. I'm not sure what causes this but I swear it happens when I know I'm not touching anything.

There is a potential lag problem. I got a full game freeze for about 1-2 tenths of a second a handful of times, but it seemed to either be due to the music in game starting back up or my friend hosting with a questionable internet connection. I did not seem to lag with the music set to looping.

And my last problem with it is that I have to wait on my friends to be awake! It would be nice to play this on my own if I get the itch to play, either with a bot or some sort of online queue with randoms!

If you're looking for a co-op game and like platforming, this is the go to game.

This has been my go to game for the past 2-3 years. Just wanted to clear up a few things about the mixed reviews if you were on the fence about trying this:

-There is enough free content to play to know if you would like this game. Go for the gold/author in the current campaign, some old training maps, royal, ranked, and arcade. If you do like the game standard and club are INCREDIBLY cheap and worth buying. $10-30 for a whole year is basically nothing nowadays, especially for how much I get out of it.

-I'm not a huge fan of Ubisoft, but the launcher isn't any worse than Rainbow6 or any other Ubi game.

Now that the 2 main criticisms everyone seems to have are out of the way, the main draw of the game to me is the community. Least toxic gaming community I've ever been in. So many creative, competitive, and nice people. I used to spend my time grinding campaign maps and cup of the day / track of the day leaderboards, but now I spend most of my time in a group that does speed mapping where we all create maps in 15 minutes and play on each others maps after in the TM US discord (don't have to be from the US to join).

Side note: Rocket League used to be one of my main games and this rivals the car control and consistency/fairness of the game. I find TM much more relaxing due to the more well behaved community and knowing that it's okay to just mess up and restart.

I do also feel it would be wrong to not include some of the actual pitfalls of this game so:
-Slightly too addicting
-You need club access to view ghosts which can be a huge advantage knowing the current best strategy.
-A lot of the quality of life stuff relies on having open planet (which is a free software you can and should get for the game if you have standard/club).
-There have been a couple physics updates that made some old map's author times harder/impossible to get.

This game is +++, but there is a huge learning curve. Don't be too surprised when you can't immediately drive as fast as Wirtual.
Also I make the French maps and i'm not even French. Sorry.

My favorite game to sink time into. Runelite is still the superior client however this client could have a bright future if it were to integrate Runelite's features. This client is perfectly usable for new players and the game feels super nice with 144 fps, however without stuff like proper bank tab/tags, menu entry swapper, tile markers, gpu render distance, door kicker, ground items, and player indicator it's not quite worth staying on this client. I am very excited for the day that we can mix the two.

I feel like this game was made for me.

PROS

-Feels good to play (responsive, never feel cheated out of a life)

-High and stable FPS (nice on 144hz monitors)

-Intuitive. There's no real walkthrough or in game guide, but it's easy to catch on to (almost) everything

-Wide skill range. This game isn't as hard as some of the noobies that left negative reviews might convince you to believe. With a controller and a little bit of time and practice you can beat the game in less than a week, AND there is a high skill ceiling if you want to go for all S rank, AND a much higher skill ceiling if you want to improve your score on the leaderboards (and of course the much more unforgiving newgame+)

-Visuals. The atmosphere is just amazing, fast, and scary just like I never knew I wanted it to be.

-Sound. The sound is 70% of everything good in this game. I cannot give the sound guy enough props. It gets the adrenaline pumping while keeping you on beat and letting you know the beat to come. Brilliant.

CONS

-I wish there were more levels, or at least user made levels. I beat the game twice in <20hrs (1st playthrough + S rank) and even left the game open for a few hours. There's still newgame+, but they're all linear levels. Good for practicing, but it does kill the replayability a bit.

-Lack of an in-game guide. This isn't a deal-breaker for me, but trying to figure out how to stay in the air during turns to hit those high arches consistently was a bit difficult without a guide. Everything else was mostly covered at points in the early levels.
Note: There is a PDF guide if you right click the game. I found it after I beat it the second time.

OVERALL: 9.5/10

Should you get it?
Yeah. (unless you absolutely hate rhythm games)
