I'm just gonna get to the point. The story and writing are sub-par, but that's not why you should get this game. This game is a must-have for any person who's enjoyed the combat in RPG games. It combines the style of SNES RPGs with some very unique features, forcing you at times to play more tactically than other RPGs of a similar style. And, probably the best feature, random encounter limits. Meaning, after a certain amount of encounters in a certain area, you stop getting random encounters. You can still force encounters if you want to grind or just feel like punching something, however. In all, it's the combat of this game that makes it more than just an average RPG wanting to be retro.

Oh, and since I can't ignore it, the comedy. It's a mixed bag; at parts being really clever, and others being really forced and just plain bad.

One of the best platformers out right now, and it's free. It's insanely fun to speedrun, or if you wanna relax, it's great to just play casually as well. Extra Spicy mode is a nice challenge once you get a good feel for the game. And there's the kitty and yolo modes if you're feeling masochistic, which limit your lives to 9 and 1, respectively. Also in kitty mode (aka playable cat dlc) you play as a cat.

Seriously, play it. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥' free, man.

Oh, and if someone says it's like the "I wanna be the" games, call them stupid. Except maaaaybe for spicy mode, but still, it's a hell of a stretch.
