Mechanics and game systems are excellent and interplay in interesting ways. Players are pushed to play as a team, not just run around doing their separate things. Occasionally buggy, but not much I thought a big deal. After playing 200 hours I do hope for some more complex mission objectives and more unique map features (a highway through the map, a large bridge, a scalable cliff wall, a tunnel etc).

Overall an excellent teamwork and co-op game. I love Democracy.

Fun and very well polished mod that I can recommend to anyone who wants more Portal.

The time portal mechanic works really well and is fun to play around with. By the end, thinking in that extra dimension feels much more natural than at the start. Some of the puzzles are quite hard, and involves a bit more time sensitive and precise execution than what I remember from the main game, but not overly much.

This does mean that you have to repeat the same actions more times before you figure out not just the solution, but also get the execution down. However, this is not a major drawback as once you figure out how to do something, doing it more times is quite easy, and solving each chamber is very satisfying.

Having completed it I would quite like to have more of it, perhaps an expansion of the (complete but minimalistic) story elements, but even as is, it was a satisfying "snack" of a Portal game!

TL;DR: The world is fantastic, and almost all other aspects are also better if compared to games like Deus Ex, Fallout 4 or GTA V. Bugs are very minor.

Runs out-of-the-box via Proton on Linux, but only with 60 or so fps on low, but 120+ fps on Windows on high. I'm using a GTX1080. I'm pretty sure Proton will be optimized for this game over time though.

I've been playing for about 20 hours now, and I really like it. The best thing is the world. It is very immersive and vibrant, and it reminds me of Deus Ex in its physicality and feeling, but more alive, akin to GTA V, or Hitman: No Subtitle.

Game mechanics work very well too. Enemies will use cover and throw grenades, but will sometimes also try to rush you with melee. They can also try to hack you, as you can to them. You need to use cover (unless you put skillpoints into being like a tank) and the cover mechanics are very fluid: if you crouch near cover, your character will move their head down a little extra, but you are not locked into a "cover mode" like in many games. If you aim while in cover, you will raise your head and aim over the top, or lean a little around the corner. Hacking gameplay is more fun than in any other game I've played (like Fallout 4, Watch Dogs, Deus Ex).

All characters I've encountered have been very well written, and I've found it very easy to relate to and feel like I'm building a relationship with them. The story itself is also engaging. I've not yet done a quest I thought was boring.

Driving felt a little weird and difficult at first, especially in first person. But after just a little while I got much better at it, and now driving feels really good. Can definitely recommend driving in first person as I have been enjoying the immersion of that immensely.

Skill trees and items is perhaps not the game's strength, but it is by no means bad. Compared to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Fallout 4, Skyrim and Witcher 3, it has more interesting items and skill combinations than any of those games.

Bugs have been reported by many people, but I've only had very minor ones. A single conversation had some cigarettes floating in mid air. A couple of times stats on items in my inventory displayed wrongly. Voice lines sometimes seem to start a bit too early or too late (like plus minus 0.5 seconds). But these would be minor things even if they were not going to be fixed!

I really like this game. It isn't "the perfect game" like some reviews I've read seem to think it should be, but I can't think of any game that does more than one thing better than Cyberpunk 2077 does everything. It is everything I hoped it would be and will definitely be my reference point going forward, just like Skyrim was for a long time. However, be aware that the game is probably best enjoyed if you do try to roleplay a little. If you primarily try to minmax your stats, I think you will forget to enjoy many of the best parts of this game.

I can also recommend not fast travelling. Driving along the streets of Night City on a rainy night feels really cool.

I could say much good about this game, but instead I will only bring up the most fascinating thing:

Playing Kerbal Space Program is a really rather fun way to gain an intuitive understanding of orbital mechanics and spaceflight.

So if you are fascinated by space and you don't mind a bit of a learning curve, this is a game for you.

Open-world RPG where you are in control of a modular spaceship. If that sounds fun to you, I recommend this game.

Got this game just after release and me and a friend played about 5 hours. It's pretty fun that it is coop, something that always makes a game more appealing to us, and the coop is well implemented too. The rest of the game however, is just not very fun. Combat is okay, but the skills/spells get pretty boring after a while and there doesn't seem to be many "advanced moves" you can do with them. Skills have their basic usage, and that's it, not many interesting combinations. Neither is there a particularly large selection to choose from.

There is no mmorpg-style "required grind" to progress in the story, which is good, but the game still feels fairly grindy as you mostly just spend your time grinding monsters anyways. Quests aren't very engaging either, it's mostly "kill 10 of these things", "escort this guy" and "clear this dungeon". Atleast the dungeons has some kind of boss at the end, but that's about it.

tl;dr: If you are a few people who really want to play just any RPG together, sure, I guess. But for most part I say: Not Recommended.

Space Engineers is a game where you play as an Engineer in uh.. Space. The game really tries to stay true to the laws of physics, which is great, while on the same time not complicating things too much. So far it I find it really fun to play, I've spent so much time just designing and building stuff.

Then there is riding ships... Do you know how awesome it is to stand on a ship, piloted by a friend of yours, and watch the huge asteroid outside the window seemingly turn around and move, knowing that you're the one actually doing the moving? If you don't know that I can tell you, it is.

However, the game does currently lack quite a few things. Worlds consist of just empty space with a few asteroids in the center, lag can mess up travelling on (especially fast-)moving ships quite a bit and some features have not yet been enabled. All these things are however being worked on and by the time this game is released, I expect that all these things will be more or less fixed.

In conclusion, this is a great game already and it's fun to run around and build things, but if you want more of a full-game experience, you may want to wait until more advanced world-generation is added so that building spaceships can actually help you go somewhere except for into the void of deep space. For whether or not this game is worth the price - it sure is, and for the finished game, I believe I would easily pay the double.

Yeah... this game is not worth it's price.

Yes, I know it's free.

As none of my steam contacts have written a serious review of this game yet I've decided to do so. I will however try to make it short and simple. First the good things:

There is a huge world to explore and distant "scenery" are places to where you can actually go. The game is also very free and it is possible to without any hassle reach many play hours without encountering any "storyquest" or bore. Credit for that goes to the seemingly infinite amount of "sidequests" with their own storylines that may even be more interesting than the main plot.

If not stated enough already I want to clarify: This game IS freedom, it is a world.

Bad things? Well, there are a few bugs and a detection system that sometimes blow your cover without provocation but except from that, nothing.

This game is great, best game of the year in my book, except for Minecraft and Portal 2.

95/100

Dungeon Defenders is a great tower defence game to play with your friends. In fact I cannot overstate how important it is to have someone to play with. If you have that however, it's the best co-operative game I've played so far.

Much of the fascination comes from, apart the co-operation, the seemingly unlimited number of items you can find, the many ways you can play your hero and the many different heroes you can play.

So I'd recommend that you buy this game for yourself, some of your friends and get slashing! However, be sure to take note of that buying the game doesn't give you the full game and that the total price will be higher than expected due to the many DLC packs.

8/10 points...

...for great co-op, many items and customization options but with too little game in the actual game with too many DLCs and a lack of interesting singleplayer* campaign.

*Campaign is not fun enough to be played alone without bore.
