Arguably the best version of this game since WotL

Best FF in decades.

This game is nothing short of a technical achievement.
I understand that this has been remastered and has had pixel graphics added but the idea that this vast world, this combat system and this narrative existed on the NES is honestly mind-blowing. The original Final Fantasy came out in 1987 and I am writing this in 2023, does it still hold up? Absolutely. I was concerned that because the last time I played it I played the PSP version (which is probably more than a decade ago now), I would think this game was dated or annoying but this game, this franchise even, is so ahead of the curve that this game will be a joy to play in 2090, too. Mark my words.

After getting all of the achievements in this game I have to say that for what it is, it is pretty fun.
Where it gets extremely frustrating is if you want to go for all the Assault Ops, some levels are set up in a way where you only have 20 seconds to kill certain enemies with certain weapons, I cannot believe how atrociously padded it is with these nonsense challenges that only exist for you to replay the same level ten times, ten minutes each, in order to finally be able to get all of the achievements. The devs clearly didnt want to put in the effort into making the challenges fun, instead they are painfully tedious. Upvoting for the game on its own, with challenges? Absolute downvote. But you do not have to do them at least.

Bought for literal pennies because when I had a Nokia 3310 as a kid, I used to love playing Snake.
This game is just that, classic snake, exactly what it says it is. Tons of fun even to this day.

First of all, the art style is really really good.
As an example, it isn't just dark because it is night, it is dark because the darkness of Tommy's past sins are haunting him. His life is bleak, he is past his prime, he is entirely consumed by his inner darkness, it permeates his every breath, his every step, his every word. This darkness is almost palpable, you can reach out and touch it within the narrative as he is desperately searching for his girlfriend, his only light in the cold world he inhabits. The ending is a bit open ended but I believe it is obvious what happened.

The soundtrack masterfully and seamlessly works with what we are being presented as we play. It is scary, it is uncanny, it is unsettling. All the good things. This Point and Click game hit me way harder than I thought it would and I am really happy I played it.

Decent game, a bit repetitive, personally I did not know enough about greek mythology to piece together the metaphors and even though I understand Portuguese, the ending took me by surprise. Pretty good at setting an atmosphere though, I will give it that.

By no means the most technical point and click game ever, but as a sucker for anything Lovecraft, I actually really enjoyed the atmosphere and how the art style accommodated the horror theme. It will take you maybe 20 minutes to beat, longer if you do what I did and exhaust any and all dialogue options while just marvelling at the art style, but overall a nice story and great attempt at evoking a sense of fear into the player. The game is very easy to understand in terms of gameplay and how to use the itams (if you are in any way familiar with point and clicks). For the money (Read: it is free!), it is definitely worth it if you are a fan of H.P Lovecraft.

A fun game for the first hour, the other 6 and a half were spent grinding the dating sim mini-game for around 170 hats per 5-10 minutes in order to get 5000 hats and to buy all characters. I have played this on and off since it was released and it is a good time-killer if you don't want to have to think a lot about what you are doing, the mini-games are more fun than the main game, I think that is kind of funny. First hour is funny enough that I will recommend the game if you are a fan of Zero Punctuation.
