First of all I would like to say that this game is great, since launch I had a lot of fun with it and I think it has great potential.

However right now I will not recommend it because the recent changes implemented by the devs that only punish the more casual part of the playerbase. Games are supposed to be fun for everyone not only for the early abusers that have a lot of time while locking the rest of the community from it.

For all its flaws Tarkov is in the end a unique game that's really fun to play once you get into it.

You will die a lot, but that's fine just take your time learn the game and you will have fun.

I think there's no other game out there that has the same feel and depth as Tarkov does.

Paying to play the new classes when you already bought the game is crazy, go play other ARPGs that are either free or 1 time buy.

To hell with lootboxes and predatory behavior towards your customers.

This is supposed to be a game not a casino with extra steps.

I have spent quite a bit of time on this game and I will try to be as honest as possible in this review.

This is not a game for everyone, this is not a game for people who prefer PVE and lastly this is not a game for people who can't accept that you will die, a lot.

I've been through all the stages of the game from a solo new player trying to learn stuff to being part of guilds that do large scale PVP and I can tell you it's quite fun. Find a group of people you enjoy playing with and have a blast doing all kinds of activities.

If you enjoy playing solo your life will be harder but also everything you achieve will fell 10 times better, currently they are preparing a new update that should offer solo players more content safe from all the groups trying to kill you.

The game has no pay to win mechanics, while you can buy currency with real cash this will not make you win more fights. All that matters in the game are the specs of your character and trying to power level these with cash ends up being really expensive and not worth it at all since you can achieve the same thing in a couple of days just by playing. Gear means nothing, you lose it you win it you sell it you buy it, items don't really have a lot of value and everything is easily replaceable.

In the end I would like to say that this is a PVP game, one in which you will die a lot, lose a lot of gear but also win a lot and make all your loses back with a profit the more you play it.

It's a really enjoyable game if you put a little bit of time into it, stay away from guilds that only want to profit from you and find some decent people so you can enjoy this wonderful game.
