Game main story finished in 28 hours from a fresh save on release; it's pretty good
So far the only negative points I have about the game

1: the new Hermes portrait, his portrait in Hades 1 is giving the impression that he was just sprinting past Zagreus it felt more in line with the character, but now that Mont Olympus is under siege he has the time to relax a bit apparently

2: getting nectar for secondary stuff is very annoying until you unlock the sweet nectar cauldron recipe (despite clearing the game I haven't unlocked it yet)

If you like Roguelike game I would say it's a must have like the first one

Selling for 30$ the story of the Va'ruun which is presented as an important faction in the first 2 hours of the main game despite being essentially completely absent from it is wild

It should have been part of the main game, not dlc 1 year after release

I have a lot of mixed feeling about this game and the way the assasins creed franchise as been going the last 10ish year

I've bought AC Valhalla some time ago for pretty cheap feeling that the low price would mitigate the near guaranty disappointment I would feel will playing the game

And, the game was fun, or atleast it could have been.
But before what they did right let's talk about what they did wrong

As you can see steam log my play time at 123 hours ~
Meanwhile my save log it at around 98 hours.
25 hours, a day and an hour, around 20% of my play time is unaccounted for
Why is that you may ask, well I'll tell you.
The game is EXTREMELY unstable, despite meeting the required hardware the game would pretty frequently crash forcing me to restart the game, reload and replay around the last 5 minute of the game I lost.
Crash where so frequent in fact that it actively ruinned the game story for me, as I felt forced to speed read the subtile during cutscene and dialogues will skipping them in fear that I would crash during them
It would crash when taking steam screenshot with f12
It would crash randomly for no apparent reason
I also sometime would and up soft locked by accidently clipping throught a wall by trying to climb it from a weird angle

The introduction to the in game shop is a mandatory quest for the story progressions despite being completly irrelevant to the story
A lot of the outfit/weapon available in the ingame shop are pretty much just ported from AC Origin and Odyssey or reskin
Will the lack of steam achievment in of it self isn't bad the fact they didn't make the effort to make them when they are already variable in the code to track said achievment for uplay or whatever they call it now show either lazyness or that ubisoft is throwing a tantrum because people don't want to use their launcher instead of steam

Now let's talk about the good
The hack and slash gameplay is well done, the ability to dual wield was pretty nice even if I would have liked for specific weapon combinaison to have "unique moveset" sadly this only happen when wielding two weapon of the same class (two spear for example which was my main build for most of the game)
The rogue-lite mode, Forgotten saga (which was a free update if I'm not mistaken) was probably the highlight of the game for me (may be mostly because I didn't have a single crash will playing it)

And that a shame
Because behind all that there is a good hack and slash game that is sadly wearing the skin of the long departed Assasins creed franchise, a franchise that was a long time ago centered around it's stealth gameplay which, in this game do somewhat exist but is put very far in the background and is very much optional in favor of a focus on a mostly barren open world and lite-rpg mechanic that exist solely to pad out the game time

The game is way too expensive for the price of 60 euros for the base game (99 euros if you want all the dlc) with the state it was left in, maybe for 20 (with the dlc and patch to make it more stable)

>Slip the photo I just took under my client door as the landlady stare at me
>My exploit resonates all around Neo China as my social credit level increases
>The SynthDisk is in my client mailbox
>Take the elevator back down
>Have to pick the lock in the very busy lobby to get my reward
>Get caught and beaten to a bloody pulpe by agent of the Xi enforcer division

10/10 would break all my bones all over again

1 week after release the dev decide to nerf freddy dead because he is strong in low rank as they have trouble figurating how to properly counter him.
Will being below average in high rank with mechanic easily abusable by competent survivor.
