This is one of the only reviews I have ever written for a game and I did because it needs it. After over 300 hours in this gem of a game I cannot recommend. This is an amazing game for medieval swordplay. It has smooth combat, load-out customization, role-play, and, at least in the beginning, a lot of hilarity in the midst of intense battles. It is easy to learn but hard to master and a great improvement upon previous iterations in the genre.

However, the community in this game is by far the most toxic and demeaning out of any game I have ever played period. The most barbaric, horrific, racist, homophobic, and xenophobic remarks have been made in this game. Even after turning the chat box off, I would still see terrible things just when typing gg in chat at the end of the game or when trying to coordinate with a team member. It blows any other community you think is toxic out of the water. As my personal decision, I can no longer play this game because I do not want to be even remotely affiliated with these toxic people anymore, which now seem to make up the majority of the community.

Please take this into consideration before buying.
