Tired, tedious gameplay. You will either feel like you're flowing through without any issue whatsoever, or you will be absolutely overwhelmed. That is the range the AI difficulty has. Frankly I don't see how people had a taste for this ten years ago let alone in 2025. I hope you get all the money you can from the subscription service you snakey f**cks.

The mainline puzzles are challenging enough to give a good of playtime, but not so crazy that someone who doesn't play this sort of game couldn't figure out. While managing that, they also have a whole range of things that weren't required to finish left to be discovered, which is very nice and lends to replayabiity. My girlfriend enjoyed the game and looks forward to the next part.

Best left to someone looking for a franchise to sink deep into, or pre-existing fans I feel. It lacks a lot of polish you hope for in a world-beloved franchise. The main plot writing is alright enough, but the end payoff has me questioning "I'll have to work with or even once again under these people? Why?" As I know this is a prequel I could've expected as much, but to see the end tally of bodies on each "side" is a tad ridiculous. The game could've been four chapters shorter if PEOPLE would've just stayed put. The side stories when not presented as an accidental cutscene roadblock tended to be enjoyable. The fighting gameplay could be a lot tighter. Provided a decent enough challenge on Hard mode. The minigames are okay enough, and most aren't forced or required for the business side-missions. Overall the game has left me complacent with a longer time between this playthrough and Y1.

Game loop is fun. RNG is the life or death of your run. Eventually you'll learn if a run is lost or not by wave 15.

D0g-p1$s, a$$-sh1t game. Remember when BHopping was fun? And it felt good? Remember when surfing felt good? And consistent? That was in source. We're like three games removed from that. Every single friend I have that plays this game on a regular basis I view as lesser. And the sad truth is despite them spending money on skins, I still own more value in CS2 than them. Try stocks, virgins.

Used to be a good franchise, now they're killing the good games to datamine us in the fourth one.
