There were so many issues with this Source Mod. It kept crashing, it was poorly optimized and certain parts of the levels were glitchy.

On top of all that, the story line did not engage the player in it. It did not make the player care for any of the characters. The level design was atrocious and often required the player to run for ages and not engage with the level. The sound was often fake or nonexistent on things that should really have been making a noise.
The way the “new” mechanics were taught was terrible. You need to make sure the player knows what is what when there is a lot to learn. Its fundamental games design.

The price is definitely not worth paying. I have played better and more professional Source mods for free. HDTF had a very “first time mapper” feel in a lot of the maps. They were under detailed, lacked challenge and fun and could have done a better job and engaging the player.

I would not recommend Hunt Down The Freeman. Not even to my worst enemy. I would urge them to go and throw $25 into an incinerator as there is probably more enjoyment gained from that.

Edit: Just for the record, I played it for 6 hours although for some reason, the hours don't count when you are offline. It's quite strange?

DownFall is a beautiful mod. It has a great atmosphere and a true HL2 Episode 2 feel. The setting seems peaceful yet there are plenty enemies to encounter. Each part has been well thought through to give the player the most enjoyable experience. Though it seems short, there are places to look around off the main track so the setting feels like a living world. The variation of enemies and ways to dispatch of them makes it all the more better and so much work has been put into making puzzles that are fun and visuals which are stunning. If you love the Half Life series of games, you are bound to love this.

How can you go wrong with Counter-Strike. It is a fun game that is for those who want to win. It is a test of skill and intelligence. It is a great game with the 5 on 5 defuse mode being the best mode in an FPS game. In this edition of CS, There are different “official” game modes if you are looking for a more casual experience or looking to get good. If you want to spend hours going from being happy to frustrated and then back to being happy, you will love this game. (Also there are skins, toxic kids and hackers left right and center.(The new Dust 2 is great though) You have been warned!)

Fast Detect is not a good mod. It lacks in good game play elements and fun, thought provoking combat. The exterior design looks beautiful for the most part but the interiors looked bland and underdeveloped. There is a lack of direction for the player which leads to frustration. It got really boring at certain points and failed to keep the player entertained. The mod is full of bugs and glitches that should have been found in play testing. Often, it was hard to know what you had to achieve in playing and what the situation was as there was no story line. There was writing on the screen and this is something I have spoken about before. Narrative or objective should never be give through in game text. The Enbs were pointless and if more focus had gone into the game play, it may have been balanced enough to qualify as a good mod.

This Game Makes the Grade! It Has Survival Like Day Z, It Is Intense Like 7 Days To DIe and it feels like Minecraft. Who could Want A Better Game (And Its Free)

If ever there was a time for a game like this in a world that is slowly going insane, Now, Is the time were we must free ourselves and Goat ourselves back to sanity. 10/10
