Edit: changed my review to TENTATIVELY positive. The graphics are still a headache and the performance is atrocious, but the game itself is entertaining if you can get past those things. At this stage it's less fun than its predecessors but making good progress.

Original: This is a really hard review for me, as I *loved* the previous supraland games and recommended them to everyone. Unfortunately they changed the engine for this one, and it both looks and plays like garbage. This game isn't exactly photorealistic, and I either have the choice of grainy and headache-inducing visuals, or 30 FPS. Deeply frustrating.

Awful reimagining of the rollercoaster tycoon/theme park games

Short, relatively simple, but almost perfect. Great atmosphere, interesting blend of different game modes (like all Daniel Mullins Games), and constantly entertaining. Well worth £7!

The scale and scope of this game are insane. Planets are so large that you could spend literally an entire day walking getting from one place to another if you didn't use your ship. The galaxy is also colossal, which combined results in an overwhelming area available to discover, explore and colonise.

The story is also compelling, and a major improvement over what was provided at launch. The game devs seem keen to keep providing content, resulting in an active playerbase.

This game is mind boggling, and I strongly recommend that anyone with even the slightest interest in space exploration should give it a go. Even when not on sale, this game is a bargain.

I own and have played 90% of WH1, WH2, WH3 & DLC. As a concept, the game is great, and the base game & factions are fun. However CA have made WH3 game almost unplayable & extremely limited if you don't buy their DLC, which they have now explicitly said you have to do or they'll kill the game whilst also increasing the price!

What happened to base games being a complete, finished product, and DLC/expansions being gameplay additions rather than requirements for enjoying what you've already bought?
