Okay, this game isn't an unreserved recommendation. Artic Awakening is a narrative adventure game with simple puzzles set in Antarctica. If you like walking simulators such as Firewatch or scenarios like The Long Dark, you should take a closer look at it. Games like these thrive on their storylines. Unfortunately, the game can't maintain the high standard of the first episode throughout the remaining four episodes. At the time of writing this review, I couldn't find any serious bugs, but one puzzle in episode 5 has a major design flaw that may force you to restart the scene. At the moment this game also isn't for achievement hunters, some of the achievements are bugged (i.e. i unlocked the achievement for finishing episode 5, but never unlocked this achievements for episode 3 and 4).
So, just about thumbs up, especially for fans of Firewatch (6/10).
