One of my sweetest memories from childhood, Dino Crisis is a great survival action horror classic from CAPCOM, a Resident Evil-style game with dinosaurs and captivating characters like Regina and Dylan. A true gem from CAPCOM, and no wonder why it's still talked about 20 years later.

Remaking either Dino Crisis 1 or 2 would be a dream of mine, as well as many other fans. The game won as the top 1 from a CAPCOM poll about which sequels should be given attention to. Dino Crisis won first place. A person made a review here saying that Dino Crisis 2 doesn't need a remake. That obviously is a joke or a very delusional comment. There's no current game ever that beats Dino Crisis 2's ambience vibes + horror action combining dinosaurs and modern humans so well. Despite that, characters like Regina or Dylan have a lot of charisma and are loved by fans.

CAPCOM already has their own engine, which they use to remake most of their Resident Evil games (RE4 Remake, RE Requiem, and RE2). So having their own engine built around their action-horror games already made is a very upfront step already made to start a remake of Dino Crisis. Hopefully, one day we will be hearing about the announcement very soon! And everyone would love that.
