Great game to introduce your gf into the world of gaming.

Too many hours sunk into the game, I had to give a positive review.

First of all thanks Humble Bundle for the freebie... It's a pretty good game in my opinion, I like the Noir-esque vibe but I have a few minor critique on this game.

The movement on your main character is really janky, when you push shift to run, your character is bolting in one direction, your A and D keys render useless when you are holding shift.

I also find it ridiculous how awful the AI in this game is, at least from my playthrough, my squad was completely useless. I merely used them for their "abilities", they lack the fire power, I would go through a mission getting 60-70 frags while my other two AI would total about 8-15 frags. FYI I was on veteran difficulty.

The big downside to this game is that you can't control the AI peeking mechanic, it's crucial in the game that your squad doesn't take too much damage because you risk completely losing a squad member or simply failing the mission. Every mission I go on, my squad would keep repeeking when they are super low on health, you physically can't tell them to stop peeking either so they always end up needing a revive or otherwise they die after about 15 seconds.

I think if there was a way to command your AI's to simply stay in cover like you wished, this game would have a far greater review from the community. I got it for free but otherwise I wouldn't pay $20 for this game, if I'm going to be honest.

It's actually pure garbage, was good as a crate farming sim but now it's just horrible.
