game rocks

updated review 60 hours later: game really rocks. the most fun spellcasting has been in a fromsoft game. i enjoy all aspects of this game, i seriously like it so much. a successful experiment on froms part and i hope to see it supported for a long time and to see more projects like it.

also, revenant is underrated. you kinda want a good fp relic to make her really sing but she is really fun and effective. none of the characters are really bad

new and exciting hero shooter with a bright future that respects your time, has minimal fomo and allows you to earn skins for free. its not the same game but the feeling i get playing this game is the feeling i got back when any real developers were still on the overwatch team and it wasnt actively being sabotaged for shareholder value. cool diverse roster, high value cheap battlepass(that you can buy and complete 5 years later), a promising future of character releases, and infinite bottom line cash flow from being a marvel product.

try it out. its free, and if you like it, its got a good future ahead of it, so its a good game to really sink your teeth into.

Phenomenal game. Everyone should play it. The less you know, the better.

One of the most unique campaigns in the game. Buying this DLC will give you full access to the base Ogre Kingdoms roster and all of the DLC units for the Ogres as well. You will only be missing Skrag and Greasus. They are cool, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is cooler, and for 9 bucks, you can play the best Ogre campaign that has ever existed in this game to its fullest.

A lot of confusion around this game would be solved if it was just marketed as 'Early Access'. The early life of a live service game is basically the same thing, in my eyes, and you should treat this game as such, even if Fatshark does not agree. There are definitely problems with this game, but none of them are terminal, and I suspect that this will be a game that I can recommend with no strings attached in a few years.

That being said, I do in fact think this game is very fun as is. There is very little wrong with the core gameplay. If you are a big fan of V2, like I am, then I believe that, so long as you can run the game at a level that is comfortable to you, It is worth 40 dollars. If you aren't, I would think twice about purchasing it right this second, if you don't have a friend group or other reason to play it right now. It will only appreciate in value as a purchase as time goes on and the kinks get ironed out. Once again, though, the gameplay is phenomenal. It does suffer from a lack of content compared to Vermentide 2's launch, because that game had more time in the oven, but I do personally believe that this game will come to be praised as another good step forward from Vermentide 2. The melee combat is just as good if not better than it was in V2, and the ranged combat is much more sophisticated, among other changes that I am personally quite fond of, like the weapon stats system, and information access within the game itself.
