Frankly, I usually don't write reviews. I don't find anything exceptional about most games to share my opinion. This one was different. Right off the bat, I was hooked. I went in expecting fast paced, Uplink style hacking. I was most definately not disappointed, but as soon as my screen BSODed from another hacker, I knew this game was diffferent. The intro was odd, but I rolled with it. I found the different challenges so varied, and interested in each one. It was not until later in the game, where the game started to test my morals and question the ethics of the hacking and technology industry in general where I got really hooked. I also find it very wonderful that they have other things to go back in and do again for another play through. Through my first five hours, I completed the game, and look forward to going back through and finishing the extras, including el's challenges.

One complaint, though. The "RAM" system for managing systems is hard to come to terms with. You will be frustrated as you can't seem to have quite enough RAM for that one other port hacking application. I ended up, by the end of the game, writing things down on a notepad next to me rather than using the built in note feature. Only ~750 MB of free RAM? You've got to be kidding me. I have over 16 GB free right now. Also, why do notes take up RAM? I understand why this is there, but it seems to be not quite as well thought out as well as it should have been.

All in all, it is well worth the five dollars I spent for it. I enjoyed it, and plan on enjoying it for much longer.
