I've only played two hours (almost) so far and already I've been laughing so hard I felt sick afterwards. A truly amazing experience.

I will forever cherish the story of Winnie the pooh vs. Japanese/Siberian Winnie the pooh... <3

This game is amazing in almost every aspect. The music, aesthetics, gameplay, soundeffects, characters and so forth.

Everything is neatly tied together and has formed this amazing experience called Owlboy. Even if the game felt a bit short, I can't help but feel satisfied with the game in the end. Owlboy was a huge enjoyment for me, the controls were tight and felt amazing to play around with and the level design completmented the overall gameplay very well. Furthermore, the music and art for this game was jawdropping, it added so much character to the game and so much charm and (to me atleast) the artstyle feels unique and stands out from other pixelart games, as this feels like a mix between old and new. Thus all locations and characters are memorable and loveable. Not only does the game offer something pleasant to look at, but the story was quite good as well. Owlboy had interesting characters with nice and somewhat unexpected twists, although nothing to write home about. To fully understand what I am talking about one has to experience Owlboy themselves.

The only thing I can see people complain about is that the game can be a bit pricey. 22,99€ is quite a lot of money for a ~6 hour long game, however Owlboy brings an innovative prespective of the platforming genre and the whole experience is truly magnificent. When I finished the game, I thought to myself "Well, this was a bit short. Was it really worth all the money?". At the same moment I asked myself that I noticed how dumb that question was, as I already know the answer.

Yes, it was worth every penny. If you think you might enjoy this game, I'd suggest you purchase it right away as it is one of the most unique Indie experiences I've had in a long time.

+ Gameplay felt good, smooth and natural
+ Good level design
+ Likeable characters

Cons:
- Can be a tad bit pricey
