Refines the formula that was presented to us in CK2. Easier to get into for newcomers and provides new avenues for growth for fans of the series. Combat can be a tad chaotic but it is more approachable than CK2.

Great game, great patch notes, great team behind the game.

Year later update: This game is pretty damn awesome and shows how much love a developer can put into a game. Can't wait for TW:WH3

One of the better Total War games in recent memory (except when there are 6000+ rat men running around) but with dragons, magic, sadomasocistic elves, rat men and warp cannon fire.

Far better optimised than Attila.

Downsides: No Naval Combat,
