It is very easy to die in Nongünz, especially if you're careless. This would be fine if the game took one of the usual approaches, by either letting you recover the items you lose on death, or by making individual runs sufficiently varied so that each death lead to a (somewhat) new experience. Instead, death loses you all your inventory and unspent points, and there's only a small variation of monsters and levels, creating a very frustrating experience.
