No microtransactions. No nonsense. Just a good AA adventure.

Absolutely stuffed full of British references. You'll recognise beloved voices too.

A fun puzzle/roguelite/tower defence game.

I'm having a great time with it.

Distinct lack of sheep baa sound effects though - a bit of a missed opportunity.

Plants vs. Zombies: Game of the Year is an absolute classic. Objectively one of the greatest video games ever made. Developed long before Popcap's acquisition by EA. No DLC, no microtransactions, no season pass, no cosmetics, no nonsense. The full game for one low price. Try Octogeddon from the same devs too!

I'm thoroughly enjoying this.

It's complex, huge, and should keep me going for some time to come.

I have experienced great performance (AMD Ryzen 9 3900X @ 4 Ghz, RX 6750 XT, 32 GB RAM, SSD) so far, with the game averaging 95 fps (1080p native rendering, all settings maxed out, motion blur off).

I have not experienced any game breaking bugs.

It's working great, is good fun, and is massive - everything you need from an RPG.

PS - You can play it like you're DOOMguy!

PPS - There are sweet rolls!

PPPS - Don't use fast travel unless on a planet. Just point your ship at the mission marker and jump manually - see what happens on the way...
